I have had my Jaguar X -type almost a year now which I bought from Kirkcaldy Motor Company and despite some minor cosmetic issues with the car I have had trouble free running in that time . I believed at the time that it was all they describe it to be which was backed up by my local garage. You could say I am quietly satisfied with my purchase.

Recently purchased a 5 year old Kia Picanto from Gavin. Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly honest advice and would recommend you pay a visit. Car came with a 3 month warranty from garage, free AA breakdown cover and full tank of fuel as described on the website. Very happy with car and will be returning when it comes to time for a change.

I've read the review that Mr Kelly has written, and In response I would like to present some facts that have curiously been omitted.

Mr Kelly owned the Jaguar he bought from us for approximately one week, then called to inform us of issues he was having, namely a diesel leak - black smoke from the exhaust - and lumpy idling. He went on to say that he was a "formidable man to mess with", and that his local garage had diagnosed three different mechanical problems all related to the issues he was having with the car. We asked him to bring it into to us immediately so that we could have it inspected. A faulty diesel pump was quickly diagnosed, and a brand new unit promptly ordered, and fitted at no cost to Mr Kelly. The diesel pump resolved all issues. The repair cost to us was almost £1000, £750 more than the warranty limit Mr Kelly alluded to in his review. The fault was correctly diagnosed and the pump fitted by the same company that had carried out the MOT test which Mr Kelly stated was "flawed".

Mr Kelly went on to say that he had contacted VOSA to have them investigate the standard of the MOT carried out on the vehicle.....the car was sold some time ago, neither the MOT testing station that carried out the MOT or The Kirkcaldy Motor Company Ltd have been contacted by VOSA.

Bought a Honda Civic here after traipsing round dozens of garages for 5 weeks. I liked I could walk in without an appointment and the car was clean, valeted and ready for the customer. I bought the car 2 days later and from viewing to driving away it was quick, professional and friendly. I feel I got a good deal with full MOT, years tax. Full tank of fuel. Breakdown cover and a warranty. Some of the similar cars I viewed elsewhere I wasn't even getting a years MOT. The car drives great. I'm happy so far and would recommend this garage. Gav was great and couldn't have done more!

I have recently bought my second car from Kirkcaldy Motor Company and like the first car it was great value for money and a great going car. The service i received was very good and I found on both occasions the staff were professional and very knowledgeable about each car i have purchased. I would highly recommend buying a car from them.
