fantastic meal last night, everything from start to finish was amazing, we both had the langoustine starter and they melted like butter they were so tender, my hubbie had the surf and turf special main and i had the lobster thermador special, both were just delicious, and pudding again was lovely, cheesecake and textures of mallow and raspberry, staff were really nice, so happy and attentive, this was our first visit and it won't be our last, we will be back very soon, thank you all for a great evening

We recently stayed here for a wedding. Linda, Liam and all the staff made our stay very pleasant and nothing was a issue. Our shower was broken so the next morning Linda had a new room all cleaned and made up for us to move into. The food at the wedding was excellent and the breakfast was superb too. Anyone thinking about visiting The Knowes. I highly recommend. From myself and my family. Thank you �

We had our fathers funeral teas here at the end of May. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and made a very heartbreaking hard day into a relaxed afternoon for all who attended.. well done all of you �

We had an afternoon tea for my Granny’s birthday! It was lovely from start to finish. As soon as you walk in you can admire the lovely decor and great views. Our table was beautifully set with China tea pots, cups and cake stands. The food itself was delicious. A great selection of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream, and mini dessert cakes such as strawberry tarts, lemon meringues and macaroons to name but a few. The staff were on hand and helpful and even boxed up what we couldn’t manage as there was quite a lot! We will certainly be back. Thank you for a great afternoon!

Was treated to a birthday meal here tonight by my Fiance. Staff was so attentive, great atmosphere, devine food and delicious cocktails!! my Fiancé and i thoroughly enjoyed our meal out could not have asked for better. You could tell that so much effort goes into the presentation and taste of the food, nothing tasted pre-packaged or frozen it just tasted simply amazing. The attention to detail was spot on! Very well priced too. Beautiful establishment. An asset to Macduff and I highly recommend!

Thank you for a beautiful meal could not have faulted it and the dessert was magic and the what you did to my plate was a lovely touch, the service was exceptionally good 10/10 we will definitely be back X

Simply Amazing....i had my wedding here a couple of weeks ago and i honestly can not thank them enough for making my day one to remember!

From the initial consultation to the big day Linda, Wayne and team went out of there way to give me everything i wanted, nothing was too much bother.

The meal itself was absolutely amazing and praised by all the guests! The vegetarians also commented on how tasty the spinach and ricotta risottowas and this would be a welckned addition to the main menu Wayne �.

The hotel itself is stunning and the refurbishment it has had has definitely put this hotel back on the map, the views are amazing and the back drops available for fotos gorgeous..we didnt even leave the area for fotos...no need when the knowes has it all.

This is an ideal venue for anybody considering getting married in the future and more importantly very reasonably priced.

So i just want to say a big thank you to Wayne and Linda for making my day so special..

Out for run on the bike today.....popped in for a spot of lunch and we were blown away by the quality of the food, the presentation, the staff and the surroundings. We will be back..... very much looking forward to sampling your evening menu. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience.

Our first time at the Knowes since it hs been refurbished. Everything was brilliant. The staff were so helpful and helped make our family meal a great occasion.

My husband and I eloped back in February and wanted to have a meal with family and close friends. After being let down by a local competitor I approached The Knowes Hotel to enquire if they could cater for us (just 4 weeks before the event) I was absolutely delighted I decided to take this step.

I can honestly say that Linda, Wayne and their team couldnt be more helpful. We were able to meet with Linda and discuss exactly what we wanted out of the evening and they kept us up to date with everything.

We had the function hall for the evening which was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The meal was beautiful and the team were attentive. So many of our guests have spoke very highly of the meal and the venue. The views were phenomenal and we were lucky to have a beautiful night for photos.

We definatly have a new venue for family meals and events from now on.

Thank you so much to everyone involved. Linda and Wayne... well done, yous deserve to do well!

Last night was my 4th time at this restaurant. Enjoy the gorgeous sunset views if you go early enough. I can highly recommend the salmon and monkfish. I would like to see more diversity on their dessert menu. The staff are all rockstars. Whoever has trained these young men and women have done something right. They are the epitome of hospitality. I will be back, if I can get a table. Book several days in advance.

Had our entire wedding here. Thanks Wayne, Linda and staff, you absolutely nailed it and made it a special day for us. Best hotel in the area for your big day.

Had an afternoon tea, there was 24 of us. Two of our party had food allergies and the staff couldn't of been anymore helpful by sorting an alternative for them, amazing. The food was so good, the room was set up beautifully, staff were very attentive, super value for money. Would definitely recommend. Will be visiting again to try a meal from your main menu, thank you

First time eating here tonight. We shared 3 starters they were delicious. Pate, langoustines & duck rolls. I loved the duck rolls. I ordered the Aled burger. It was a brioche bun burger with pulled pork on top and cheese...yummy. I also managed to squeeze in a creme egg cheesecake... Pudding heaven. Beautiful setting & excellent service �

Deveron Amateur Swimming Club has their Summer Disco and medal presentation in the function hall at the Knowes tonight. The children and coaches had a hot buffet meal which was just lovely, so many of the kids had seconds! The staff were polite and very helpful. Excellent service all round. Thank you to Wayne and his staff.

Can't recommend The Knowes highly enough.We had an excellent family meal here yesterday -the staff,the décor and most of all,the food was superb.I'm sure this will be a firm favourite with us in the future.5 stars x

Been to a party night at Christmas, then an afternoon tea in March then most recently for a meal last night with family and friends.

Food, drinks, service, decor and atmosphere all excellent and the views are stunning!

Definitely shall recommend and will be back! Xx
