We have been many times and have never had a bad meal at all
Great beers to choose from the staff are really friendly plus there is a bottled beer shop next to the pub as well with over 180 beers to pick from

Lovely cosy atmosphere. Brilliant craft ales.

Had a wonderful meal here and the service was really good. Probably the best haggis I've ever tasted!

Visited on a Sunday in August for lunch. Was told that food would take at least forty minutes as they were very busy, despite half of the tables being empty.

I got the burger which was greasy and had no garnishes, it was served with a side of chips that could have fed for people easily.

Lovely relaxed and cosy restaurant with the added extra, of a full loaded Real Ale Shop. Perfect location, very friendly service and beautiful food.

Great food - in massive portions. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Choose to sit in the bar or in the restaurant. :)

I enjoyed the real ale, but also a great atmosphere. This Inn supports live music too.

Visited as a party of 10 (mixed ages) had fabulous meal and service. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Can highly recommend the steak and ale pie. Waiting for live music to start. Brilliant place! Gang from Liverpool.

Stumbled on this pub because my dad saw a sign for their home made Ale shop.

Pub is dog friendly providing you eat on the bar side. The staff are friendly in particular the lady who makes the Home Ales. An absolutely pleasure to talk to.

The pub itself is perhaps looking a little tired now, but that does not reflect the quality of the food. Would repeatedly visit this place next time I am in the area.
