We have been frequent visitors over the years. Nice family run country hotel with good food.
Always a welcome here, best place for cream tea and dogs welcome. If weather good, take tea in the gardens- or else in the bar where there is beautiful open fire. Just right after damp walk on beach.
Great staff, lovely atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Quite area with lovely access to the beach and west coast of the island.
Went for some food and it was really nice. Staff were nice too
Just stopped for a drink. Traditional pub/hotel/b&b with a welcoming fire. Gardens looked well tended. Convenient spot on a tour of the south of the island, especially if cycling.
Not much to tell as I only stopped for a cup of tea but the staff were lovely, the place is really nice and the locals seemed to enjoy wearing kilts! Perfect!
I have been going here for lunches and dinners for many years. The food is always fantastic and the staff are always very friendly and professional. I also popped into their velo cafe for the first time which is an excellent respite for any weary legs.
Great looking from outside. Traditional inside. Very cozy lounge. Good food. Rooms rather small, decently kept (but not overwhelmingly so).
Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. We received a warm welcome in our arrival, the room was very clean if maybe a little dated. We ate in the restaurant and the food was good although I would have preferred a slightly larger portion of the venison casserole. Breakfast was well cooked and the breakfast room itself light and airy. I would stay again happily
