Every time I get the same curry from here the price changes between £9.40 and £11.40. Food good but prices out of order.

Ordered salt chilli chips far to salty, definitely won’t be back not tasted anything like it 😷

Great food.
Just don't like the fact you add up the price of your food before you leave the house.
Get there and the price is different!!!

Pretty sure this only comes to £27.60
We have got pawn crackers with our meal. You normally get them free anyway.
Pretty sure they have just cost us £2.90.
When they are £2.00 on there menu.

Other than the price mishap the food is lovely.
No one likes being ripped off.
Has happened a few times now. So looks to me. We will have to find somewhere else to get our chinese food.

Food is delicious but would have enjoyed it more if they hadn't charged us £3 more than it should have cost by the menu prices.

Not good. Overly salty, cheap ingredients poorly cooked. The only Chinese I've ever had to pay for rice separately. Diabolical.

Would award zero stars if i could. After using this Chinese for over 20 years I was shocked tonight, the salt and chilli ribs had NO fresh chilli rings, they had just been cooked in chilli oil and had chilli seeds mixed through the onion and green peppers, there was virtually no meat on them and loads of soggy fat, the noodles arrived as dry as the Sahara, with no beansprouts or veg through them and fine noodles instead of medium, the rice didn't have the same sesame oil and soy sauce taste as usual, the curry had a sweet taste to it and it seemed like the chicken had been previously frozen as it was rubbery, prawn crackers were as bland as plain spaghetti. Unhelpful when I called up about it. £23 spent on a "special birthday meal" for my 12 year old, my 6 year old daughter had a couple of ribs and refused to eat anything else, I couldn't eat it, my son ate some rice and curry but very little
The rest has just been wasted, will NOT BE GOING BACK, I don't know if it's a new chef or new management but that is not the quality of food The Lantern used to sell.
Disappointed and dissatisfied doesn't even begin to describe how I feel, this was supposed to be a special birthday treat although turned out I would have been better off just throwing the cash in the bin which is kinda what I have done by having to bin all that food. Thanks for nothing Lantern staff.

Ordered 3 items...one being prawn crackers. Arrived in good time but didn't receive the prawn crackers...my son took the delivery they weren't attached to the meal ad usual so no fault of the driver. No point having them delivered half way thru or once you've finished your meal..! x

Extremely disappointed!!! The last time we order from here! Only Chinese we ever ordered from but last few times there have been issues... tonight no sauce with the sweet&sour chicken by the time it got dropped off our meal was cold. Chicken sweetcorn soup was vile, gloopy and even the delivery driver said he wouldn't eat that! The rice has changed it has no flavour so bland. waste of money such a let down. Also the girl on the phone sounded like she could do with some happy pills. Goodbye lantern on to a new Chinese :)

Best Chinese food I have found in East Kilbride.

Good consistent quality with a large menu.

Good delivery. Nice chicken curry. Only let dwn was the chips. They tasted and looked like reheats, disappointing, love chips with a curry 😢
