We are open as normal until Christmas Eve when we will close early at 2pm. We will then be closed until Thursday January 3rd.

We will be taking orders for Khleb bread until Tuesday 18th December. Choose from light rye, white or multigrain seeded. Orders will be ready to collect on Saturday 22nd December.

HANNAH LONGMUIR EXHIBITION September 22nd until October 31st
We are really excited to have Hannah exhibiting her original drawings and limited edition prints in the café. Hannah is a gifted countryside artist who lives in the Scottish Borders. Working mainly in pencil, Hannah records details of the fields, woodlands and hedgerows around her. Her delicate drawings are carefully observed and full of character. She uses these drawings to create her beautiful range of nature... inspired cards and stationary. We sell a range of Hannah's cards and prints in our shop and café.

MeyrellesMartin are exhibiting their 2018 scarf collection 'In Blue' from the Baroque to Romanticism until mid September in The Loft.

Front of House We are currently looking for people to join our front of house team. If you work well under pressure, are confident dealing with the many demands of customers and like smiling we could be the place for you! This is a permanent position and will include some Saturdays.
... Kitchen assistant We are also looking for someone to join our friendly team in the kitchen. This will be a permanent full time position and some experience working in a kitchen would be preferable. Duties include food preparation and cooking, stock management, cleaning and washing up. If you have a can do attitude and are passionate about food we would love to hear from you.
