The Lord Of The Isles Galley Trust

The Lord of the Isles Galley Trust is a charitable trust set up to promote knowledge of the maritime history of the Celtic galleys in Scotland. The Lord of the Isles Galley Trust owns Aileach. She was built in 1991 and has sailed as far as The Faroes in the north and Southampton in the south. Now regulations are stopping her from sailing and we are building a museum to house her along with Kildonan Museum on South UIst
