The MacDougall of Dunollie Preservation Trust Goals include: - Conservation of Buildings, Collections and Archives - Growth of Dunollie Museum, Castle & Grounds - Community Engagement - Events - Heritage Development - Academic Links & Research - Retail Development The MacDougall of Dunollie Preservation Trust currently operate Dunollie Museum, Castle & Grounds in Oban, which includes the care of Dunollie Castle, The Hope MacDougall Collection, Clan Collection & Archives along with Dunollie's ancient Textile Collection. We are also responsible for the care of Gylen Castle on Isle of Kerrera. Any monies that are raised through ticket sales, shop products, events & activities or donations are restored back into the conservation of the ancient sites and sharing heritage through educational and community programmes.
