We hired the back room for a couple of family occasions at no cost. Sam is very helpful. Arranged food ect. Food was very good

We had our wedding renewals reception here on 1st July. Sam couldn't have been more lovely & helpful. We had the restaurant area just for our party, it was cordoned off & made to look beautiful, the tables were decorated with cloths & balloons. A member of staff was handing out glasses of prosecco as the guests wandered in and the buffet was top notch & plenty of it. Thank you Sam, you were ace & our day was just perfect xxx

Under new management and it is lovely here now. Really nice friendly staff and excellent food. Great service. The Granby is to close for three weeks whilst changes are made. A carvery and so on. The Granby is on the up again. Great!

Sam has really turned this pub around. She's welcoming, friendly and has gone out of her way to accommodate both my baby shower and various other events we've held including a Cancer Research fundraiser celebration. Great food and atmosphere - it's back to being our favourite family pub!!

My family friends and I had my father's funeral Celebration of life here today and it was marvellous. The staff were very accommodating and the buffet was plentiful and the best choice of selection of food for an amazing price. Really happy.. would recommend and use again. Thank you :-)

Me and my family just had the most beautifulest Roast dinner was very hot and the veg was full off flavours will for sure be going back! Thank you to the kitchen staff

I'm attending a farewell party here tonight and just met the new Landlady, lovely and friendly she has been, telling me about all the things coming up i.e. Halloween, Christmas,, etc. The pub has a lovely friendly, welcoming, homely atmosphere and my friends and I will definitely be coming here more often!!

I had my Mums wake here yesterday, the pub was so warm and welcoming and the food was amazing , delicious hot and cold buffet for our family and friends, lots of hot tea and coffee and we spent a long time sharing happy memories of Mum and catching up with family that had travelled a long way. Sam the manager went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable, there was plenty of parking too!

I asked my mum where she wanted to go to celebrate her 80th in February- she said there’s always a lovely welcome and she has never had a bad meal at The Granby

Had the best Xmas dinner with my family here this year. Want to say a massive thankyou to you and your team. The hospitality was brilliant and the food was amazing. We all felt welcome and very looked after �. Thank you so much xx

Great pub under new management with new clientèle. Although we didn't eat that day as we had just eaten, food served around us looked great. Undergoing refurbishment later in the year so will only get better :)

Great as always Sam put on a great spread of food for Halloween shame we had to leave early as the grandson was tired see you Saturday cheers

Fantastic and friendly staff, Rhiannon always has a smile on her face. Roast dinner was excellent, and the burgers are superb. The landlady Sam has done an excellent job.

Been a few times before ( not been great) but it's so obvious the new management have made improvements. I was stunned tonight by the amazing hospitality and food. I highly recommend. I hope the new landlady has much earned success

We went last night for the first time since the new management took over as one of our favourite local bands The Scally Wags were playing. There was a lovely atmosphere in the pub, the new landlady was welcoming and friendly, encouraging everyone to get up and have a dance. It seemed that everyone had a fantastic evening. We look forward to seeing more live music here. The only slightly weird thing was that we were charged 3 different prices for the same round of two drinks!

Food well cooked and tasty. Landlady very attentive, couldn't do more for us. Only minus as far as I was concerned was the lack of vegetarian choices. Only a spicy beanburger as a main course choice. Very poor, especially as so many of us are vegetarian or can't eat meat for health or religious reasons these days.

They were having some trouble in the kitchen(chef)

So a bit difficult to judge

Will have to go again to be fair
