It's that time of year once again.
You know the deal. 30+ Cask Ales & Cider 13+ Craft Beers on Tap... Food Specials including our Fantastic Scotch eggs to be served New Bottles & Cans in our fridges
We also have 50 + Gins and fairly recently we have built a more extensive range of Single malt whisk(e)ys from all over the world.
Plenty for Everyone.
The Beer will be pouring from the moment we open on Monday (11:30am) and we will be putting brand new beers on throughout the week, with us aiming to, at least, match the 60 odd different beers we served last year.
Come and Join the party.
We pride ourselves in the ability to offer you a completely different cask selection to anything that they serve over at the other little festival down at the Jesus Green, enabling you to enjoy as many beers as (responsibly) possible, throughout one of Cambridges greatest weeks of the year.

Love the maypole top quality choice of beer big quirky garden friendly knowledge bar staff
Great choice of beers, one bar lovely comfortable seating area inside more like your own living room. Outside seating area covered.
Good range of quality beers. Inside quite modern. Nice outside drinking area. Not far from Jesus Green and town centre but is a nice place for a quite drink.
Gin choice superb, beer choice excellent and hospitality second to none

Always try to visit wheneverwe are in town which sadly isn't often enough.
Friendly atmosphere amazing food and a rather tasty blackberry porter. What more could a person need on a cool Saturday in February
Fabulous place with an amazing selection of ales and gin, coupes with delicious food and hospitality.
Best Italian (and English) food for many miles around, and great value.
Fab staff, well kept beers.
It isn't 'posh' but it doesn't need to be. Let the food, drink and staff do the talking.
I have done and will continue to walk past many, many pubs in order to get to the Maypole.
More people should try it.
Amazing food, ales, polite staff and cycle friendly! Number one pub in Cambridge imo - a gem off the beaten track...

Always a great beer selection between keg, cask, bottles and cans, I guess the staff is pretty amazing as well.

Absolutely love The Maypole, Vincent and all the staff, you cant find a warmer, more sincere welcome in Cambridge. THE BEST selection of Real Ales and the food is fantastic to.. the complete package.. very highly recommended ! Very regularly visit from out of town just to soak up the Maypole experience.. my favorite pub in Cambridge without exception.
A lovely pub off the beaten track. Great food and a nice chilled atmosphere, friendly staff and a great choice of gins and ales. Has a lovely outside seating area - perfect for the summer months. The large homemade beef arancini is de-lish! Would definitely recommend.

Didn't eat, but the food looked and smelled very good.
Bit dear I'm afraid, and sometimes a load of socialists will turn up. Nice little smoking area though if you wanna go a-biffing.
A nice place to be for a few drinks made so much better for the outside space in the summer months. An amazing selection of spirits and whiskeys.
