Take Look What You Missed #LoonyDook in Edinburgh
#TheLoonyDook continues its New Year’s Day tradition at South Queensferry. In the shadow of the Forth Bridges, the dippers in fancy dress, scantily clad or even fully clothed from the night before will brave the chill to raise money for charities while shaking off their #Hogmanay hangover. #Edinburgh #EdinburghEvents #Scotland #EdinburghLife #EdinburghLocal
One of the #EdHogmanay #StreetParty Medical Posts. Great to be working with Edinburgh Police Division and its partners - British Red Cross, Scottish Ambulance Service, Street Assist Edinburgh(SCIO),The City of Edinburgh Council to help #KeepYouSafe #Scotland #EdinburghEvents Artbees
#Hogmanay is the Scots word for the last day of the year and is synonymous with the celebration of the New Year in the Scottish manner. 🎉 Are you ready for #edHogmanay? #Scotland
very good place to hang out with friends or just read a book alone sometimes maybe not alone other times! nice for a bbq also but not a disposable bbq that will burn the ground!!
Wonderful place to go strolling, made even better by this beautiful weather we’ve had this weekend 😎😎
Very nice park in the heart of Edinburgh with three playgrounds for children an a wee golf course. :-)
The crocuses , daffodils and wild flower planting .. and the trees are what makes it .
The Fringe /Fest show tents are great in August .
It has good facilities like dog poo bins etc
Good that tennis courts are well used .. and play Park .
Nice that it’s near cafes etc.

Open spaces are good for well-being - don’t you feel liberated walking across this space?🌳
One of my favourite spots in Edinburgh! Try and go there as often as I can.

Meadows Festival 2018 was amazing!
Lovely place to spend a sunny day, play football or just hang out with friends. One of the only places to have a bbq.
Great place to spend a Sunny day.
Edinburgh as it is, lovely!
Beautiful green space in a fantastic city. Don’t miss Pete’s Yard coffee house
A beautiful green space to relax, jog, bike, walk or just soak in some fresh air in the middle of the old town, not to be missed on a sunny day to chill out for a moment or have a picnic at lunchtime.
The Meadows is so well maintained and therefore suitable for everything from a game of rounders to cuddling with your loved one to star gazing at night. I've spent so much time here and have many, many fond memories.
Brought up in the ‘ meedies’ Since a baby to now an old man. Love walking and cycling around reminiscing about the games of football played her every patch of grass with a name. The V at the old weight lifting and shed, little hampden for take on’s from the boys across the other side of the meedies. Dougie Love giving coaching sessions ‘ pass and move’.Great to see people of all ages still enjoying this space.
Always lovely in May with the cherry blossom....
