Formed in early 2016 ‘The Medicine Priests’ are a 4 piece pop rock indie band from Western Scotland. Over the past year they have created a large fanbase through gigging and releasing original songs online with catchy melodies and singalong choruses. Their debut EP Cure for Anxiety was released in October 2016 and has received airplay on Sunny Govan Community Radio & featured on Jim Gellatleys weekly playlist on Amazing Radio. The band made their TV debut in March 2017 on STV Glasgow live at five and have played a variety of shows across the country including a sold out King Tuts and over the summer played festivals such as Party at the palace, Inverclyde Fake Fest and headlined Hempstock in Glasgow Green. In November 2017 they were shortlisted into Capital FM's top 10 unsigned band's in Scotland.
