We absolutely loved it here, we stumbled across it whilst visiting Cambridge at the weekend. Great service, great real ale and great food (great choices for my vegan friends)

User

Pub, food and people all fantastic A+++ and the best thing...dog very very friendly. Dizzy & Rascal ...English Springer Spaniels..... loved the food too! Highly recommend, fish and chips utter bliss!

My husband and I, will, over the next 4 years, be visiting Cambridge regularly as our daughter is studying here.

Today, the 3 of us, and our old English sheepdog, visited The Mill at lunchtime time.

We had a hearty sandwich with chunky chips, that was well cooked and filling. Other diners were enjoying, what looked like delicious pie and mash, and other comforting dinners. (It was snowing, so I expected that influenced food choice)

Sulley the dog, was made a fuss of, by staff and customers, and brought a bowl of water.

I loved that the sound system was an record player- the Joan Armatrading album playing, was one I hadn’t heard for many years.

User

My husband and I were staying near by and decided to pop in fairly late for a bite to eat.

We had a one of the best meals from a pub in a long time. The service from the staff was very impressive. Our food arrived quick considering how busy they were .

Very pleased and will hopefully be visiting again soon.

The only suggestion I have is forvthete to be more choice for dietry needs. Dairy and wheat free. But that's all.

User

Great service, atmosphere and yummy food.

I booked a table a day before and was easy enough for them to do, considering it was a Saturday in August.

Lots of great choices on the menu and really hard to pick! There was meat, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. I chose their Burgers and they were so good! Also they were the best chips I've tasted in a long time!

I will definitely return for those chips! :)

User

Great selection of ales, both local and further afield.

User

Great pub by the river in Cambridge. Superb range of real ales and they even have little jars out by the pumps showing you what colour the beers are. Friendly knowledgeable staff. One of the best pubs in Cambridge.

User

Great place right on the Cam by the weir. Fantastic beer and good food. Portions were on the small side but quality was right there. Recommended.

User

Great place for large portions of very nice vegan food. Thoroughly recommend it.

User

Friendly staff, great beer and lovely food! Simply a cut above other pubs in the area! When temperatures drop it does get busy but you can normally squeeze in and enjoy a pint or 12!

User

Friendly staff, Cosy and comfortable atmosphere, amazing food, good selection of beers and ales, vinyl providing the music, and most of all, we could take our dog along. I’d recommend this place to EVERYONE!

User

Cracking pub, great location, good real ales, great lunch-time sharing platter and the bar staff (barman) was really friendly.

If you're going to Cambridge, give it a visit, Scudamore's Punt Hire is on the Mill pond right outside too.

User

A great little pub with a great selection of drinks. Really enjoyed my lunch. I’d have given you a sixth star if I could as I’ve never been anywhere that played Loaded by The Velvet Underground from start to finish.

User

Nice pub, good service, food was good, and nice location,

User

Lovely, dog-friendly pub with nice atmosphere and plenty of boardgames. Lots off little snugs and corners to stow away on a cold winters eve. They even have a small selection of LP’s to choose from, to the right of the front bar - your own personal jukebox (sort of).

User

I live in Cambridge and regularly go to The Mill with friends for drinks but ate there for the first time on Sunday with my family (who came to visit).

Food was really great - all of us pleased with the meal. The roast was amazing (huge portion)!

Always a great atmosphere and staff always super friendly.

My mum was also very happy that it's a dog friendly pub!

Thank you for a lovely Sunday with my family!

User

Good selection of Ales friendly staff and a delish sandwich .

User

A great pub - can highly recommend it. We had a family get together here (about 17 of us) on Saturday night, in their cosy wood panelled snug - and had a really good time....with an excellent selection of draught beers, and the food was delicious. Many thanks Dylan for helping with my booking.

User

A bit too busy for me but warm Saturday Afternoon. Good Selection of quality beer. Once got seated felt a bit more relaxed. Drinking outside in plastic glasses.
