A couple of weekends ago, we welcomed a hen party who had booked The Moniaive Chocolatiers for one of our chocolatiering demonstrations. We have only just started hosting hen parties at the chocolatiers; this was our second one! The Maid of Honour, Suzanne, gave us this lovely feedback about the event:
"we had a great time. It was very interesting and relaxed, a perfect activity for us, and we were made [to feel] so welcome."
Our hen party activities have been so successful f...or both clients and staff, that we want to do them on a more regular basis.
To give you an idea of what we offer, this group of 15 women paid £15 per head for an hour long session which included:
🐔 prosecco with fresh strawberries and raspberries on arrival
🐔 a brief introduction from Liz, the proprietor, who talked about the history and development of the business, her experience, her array of diverse customers and examples of different designs she has done over the years
🐔 a chocolate-making demonstration from chocolatier, Colin
🐔 a chocolate-painting demonstration from Fiona, our in-house artist
🐔 a guided chocolate-making & painting class for the Chief Hen, Heather, who took her own hand-made chocolates home
🐔 vanilla pod ice cream with The Moniaive Chocolatiers' own raspberry & cream topping
🐔 a Q & A session with Liz and a brief conversation with communications officer, Katie, who showed her new artwork for the business and expressed her visions to redevelop TMC's image & branding.
🐔 Each hen received four beautiful chocolates which were specially made for this hen party: white chocolate hearts with a strawberry & cream centre; milk chocolate hearts with a filling of Bailey's & cream; milk chocolate hearts with an orange & Cointreau interior and finally, dark chocolate stars with ginger & lemon inside
Each workshop, demonstration and activity we do is bespoke and they are not limited to hen parties! We tailor everything to how you want it so don't hesitate to make requests. Here is the Blackwatch Tartan Chocolate we recently designed. This iconic tartan was worn by Scottish army regiments who served all over the world for at least 270 years.

I've just tried the winter berry one, and it's my new favourite. "Miam, miam" as the French would say!

We've had a busy 2017! We moved, we designed new tartan bars, one being inspired by #outlander, we created new fillings for our filled chocolates, we designed new gift vouchers for our workshops, we posted lots of chocolates around the world, we drank lots of coffee and now it's 2018, we can do it all over again! Liz, Colin and Jodie would like to say a huge thank you to all our customers and we wish you all the best for a happy and healthy 2018!
