Our restaurant is open to all for breakfast, morning coffee, bar meals, afternoon tea and evening buffet, Monday to Sunday 05: 30am until 21: 30pm (Sunday carvery from 12 noon until 14: 30pm). Our hotel bar is also available for relaxed drinks.

Went today for Sunday carvery. The food was amazing! Every dish was tasty. Turkey was perfectly cooked. Very friendly and helpful staff and all at a very reasonable price. Can't fault it at all.
Went out for Sunday carvery yesterday. There was the large party of 12 of us
Staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was so good and because it was the buffet the boys could go back for seconds if they wanted. And they did. Puddings were amazing. And it was reasonably priced. Second time we've been and can't wait for an excuse to go back

Went for lunch at The Moorfield and it was delicious. The service was impeccable and the members of staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. Look forward to the buffets starting up for the public. X
Thanks to all the team at the hotel who try to get to work on days of poor weather like this. You guys travel really early in the morning before roads are gritted and ploughed and travel late at night. Thanks to you all- the hotel couldn't function without the effort you make!

Me and Marin went for Sun dinner. Never been before. And was very happy with our dinner. Staff were helpful. And would def go back.
I've been there for a drink, watch the football, lunch, afternoon tea, buffet, Xmas doo and have never had a bad experience. View is stunning! Staff are very polite and very friendly! Also do a lot for charities and the local community. They do a great job! �

Had a late lunch today. Service was very good, and the lamb was falling off my fork it was delicious!

Almost a 100 Royal Voluntary Service members had a wonderful 3 course Christmas dinner at the Moorfield. RVS would like to thank all the staff for such a lovely experience and in addition say a special thank you to Dave & Jenny Wink for hosting and funding the event.
The food and hospitality was 1st class and we all look forward to seeing you all next year.

Great for breakfast, lunch, coffee/afternoon tea,but having tried the evening buffet meal, I will not go back again for that not too keen on it, but place is lovely and staff are nice and helpful.
Arrived her 14.07. It's now 14.50 and no food. We're the only ones left in restaurant. Absolutely abysmal service. I wrote that at the time stated but I have to add something now. When I complained to the waiter the food eventually arrived and it was well cooked and delicious. Almost worth waiting for. Almost. Then the manager appeared and said how sorry she was that we had been kept waiting so long and that we would not be charged for the food. A great example of great customer service. I've amended my rating to a 3 star.
Went to moorefield hotel for the Sunday carvery with our family. Service wasn't great. My partner took her 7 year old child up for the main course and the guy passing out the plates went to hand her daughter the plate but thankfully my partner took it because the plate was really hot and burned my partners fingers so god knows what it would of done to her childs hand if she had of gripped it. This is not acceptable and we wont be back.
