Would highly recommend we came in on wed and had not booked. Restaurant was very busy but because it was my friends daughters 18th birthday they squeezed us in. Meal was excellent as usual and very accommodating. Thanks. �

Wonderful meal & top notch service. Had a nice corner window table even though we booked only 2 days ago. Highly recommended & was worth the recommendation!

We were in Inverness for a weekend break. The receptionist at the hotel recommended it to us. The food was the highlight of our trip. The restaurant was extremely busy however the waiting staff were friendly and extremely professional. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Inverness

We had a lovely meal on Monday at the Mustard Seed. The food was excellent as usual. We have visited the restaurant lots of times when we are in Inverness on holiday. We always book to be assured of a table. The staff are friendly and efficient and always happy to help. We will be back. Thanks for five star meal.

The food was exceptional especially for £9.95 for 2 courses at lunch. Staff were very pleasant and menu showcased some fantastic Scottish produce �. Only one little complaint about the mess in the stairwell and loos need a dust. Although, scenery, food, staff and decor made up for it �Will definitely be back and would recommend to a friend.

Thank you for a lovely night tonight. It is our 20th wedding anniversary. Glass of champagne to start and delicious meal to follow. Never had a bad meal and will always recommend to friends and family. Great place for birthdays or family celebrations. Thank you xx

Superb place, especially if you're vegan. Although there was no vegan options on the menu, when asked, I was offered a choice of 4 different starters and 4 mains! 5* customer service and food!

Myself and my daughter had an excellent lunch today. We arrived 5 / 10 minutes before our booking, but were immediately seated. Orders were taken promptly and drinks and starters arrived just over 5 minutes later. We each had a starter and main meal and they were excellent. Service was first class too, highly recommend this restaurant and will be back again soon.

Luckily we managed to get a "no Show" table for 2. Excellent meals and service. All the staff were friendly.

Had an absolutely amazing meal in The Mustard Seed restaurant in Inverness today, if anyone’s ever up this way I’d definitely recommend coming here! Fantastic food, lovely decor & great service. What a little hidden gem! ��

Great Service and the Food was outstanding! But be advised you should make a reservation even at lunch time we were able to get a table but others were turned away shortly after.

Fantastic food and service. I happened by chance on this restaurant, which is just downstream of the Eden Court Theatre but on the other side of the river. The menus outside the restaurant featured a majority of gluten free dishes, plus their 'early evening' was less than £15 for 2 courses. This high quality, freshly prepared food, using great ingredients. The gluten free aspect is not because they have substituted grains; it is, instead food which has no need for flour. I had grilled goats cheese salad with beetroot, which was not padded out with toast. Absolutely gorgeous. That was followed by pan-fried trout, again really tasty.

Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. Had the 2 course lunch which was fantastic value. Almost every table full, great to see!

Always lovely service and delicious food. Visited again today for husbands birthday and everything was lovely food and staff, 1st time we have visited with the wee one and the junior menu had fab selection also very good price considering the portion received (was far too big for him at only 18 months but it didn't go to waste �) . Thank you for the sparkly pudding too

We had the two course meal last night £13.95 food was very good value and decent choice, we had lovely evening and enjoyed our chat with Kasia regarding different gins not to be missed when you are visiting Inverness

Hi was in for the early bird menu food great only thing I would say is that the tomato and pepper soup was a bit spicy, I had the lamb madras which was good but I didn't like the yoghurt and mint sauce on top of it should be served separately staff were fantastic and helpful will be back

Booked for a party of 14 before attending a wedding reception but found standards since our last visit a few months before had slipped. was very disappointed with both timings between courses( 45/50 minutes between starter and main) and 6 plates of food being returned to the kitchen. I did email the next day to voice my disappointment but 5 days later I have had no reply.
