Clearly signposted. Has toilets and gift shop at base of mound. You can walk up to the Wallace Monument or take the free mini bus ride there and back. Stunning views of Stirling Castle and district. There is a charge to climb the 246 steps of the monument, the gift shop at the actual monument has free entry. The displays are amazing and educational.

Wonderful. One of highlights of our trip was to climb the Wallace Monument and see the views.
Also they have put on impressive exhibitions of history of Scotland / Wallace / the monument at various levels so that the climb up the stairs could be broken down into nice gaps. Very professional.
Really worth the visit.
Brill for photos as keepsakes.

This is another fantastic tourist attraction in the wonderful city of Stirling. The tower is based on the top of a hill, so you can catch a mini bus up if your unable to walk up. However there is a spiral staircase to get to the top of the tower. Well worth the view of you can make it.

Amazing place full of history and a must visit for any visitors to Scotland.

The path up is in good condition although fairly steep fairly steep should be no problem for anyone who's reasonably fit. There's also a regular minibus service for anyone less able.

If possible take a walk up the path as the wood carvings along the way are brilliant. When at the top take the path on the other side of the monument for stunning views of the River Forth and Stirling Castle.

You can walk up to the Monument, or wait for the shuttle to take you up. The walk up is steep, but has some nice places to stop and rest and is a nice walk through the woods. There are some small monuments along the way that have some historical significance. Be prepared to walk up a very narrow staircase to the top. LOTS OF STAIRS. The view from the top is worth it though. Remarkable!

A must if you are visiting Stirling.
Stunning views from top of monument.
Loads of Scottish history around Stirling and all can be seen from the top.

Have to visit here! multiple small floors on the climb up the monument and a great view from the top... also a good workout!

I mean I kind of don't know why people are complaining about the price. If you have a historic Scotland membership you get in for free! PLUS YOU can get to loss more castles in Scotland for free using Historic Scotland!

Amazing views from the top with each floor containing some nicely presented historical information. Staircase is super narrow which would cause hold ups when busy. Price of £10 per adult is a little steep but pretty stock standard as far as attractions such as these are concerned.
