We had three dogs with us who were treated so nicely by staff and customers alike- this is a truly dog friendly pub! It has a cosy welcoming atmosphere and the time just disappears when you are here! We had a few nibbles, the chips and cheese were first class! Loved this wee pub! And so did the dugs!!

The best (and oldest) pub in Oban. Great service, fab atmosphere....and very dog friendly. My wee dog Minnie was spoiled rotten by the staff. A must for lunch or a drink ��

Thanks to the Oban Inn had a great night on the Fyne Ales. Next day they surgically extracted my phone from a crevice by the corner seat.

Had a great time with the high spirited locals!! thank you for your hospitality and making our trip memorable xx

Never thought it would reopen - but then I never thought it would ever have closed down for 9 years. Good luck to the new proprietor.

Great pub for locals and tourists alike. Great food, Cracking staff and owner, good real ales and my favourite Dark Matter Rum! Add in Live Music upstairs and the occasional must picking up the pub guitar it makes for a brilliant Pub!

Cracking boozer, stayed in Oban for 3 nights, made it our ‘local’. 3 real ales. The Jarl was lovely. Always busy but staff friendly and soon served.

Brilliant atmosphere, very friendly. The food is well worth trying. Had lunch here 2 days in a row and couldn’t fault anything. It was excellent.

Booked a birthday party for my sister as she was visiting from England.

What a fantastic time we had, food was excellent, good banter with service/bar staff, felt like we'd discovered an extended family !!

Well worth popping in for a beverage or a good home cooked meal.

Thank's again to Shovonne and all her staff, shall definitely visiting again.

We had lunch here and the mussels were good, smoked fish / chowder soup lovely. Dogs allowed into the tiny bar, service good and staff friendly and professional. Understand from previous reviews this little gem has been closed for quite some time so good that it's open again but fantastic it's obviously onto great things with good food and excellent staff.

Was visiting Oban yesterday with my husband , stayed over nite and went into The Oban Inn after dinner for some drinks , great wee pub friendly atmosphere and bar staff were friendly and service was fast , good mixture of age groups in the pub too , had live music upstairs but sadly could not get in to listen as it was jam packed up there , would definitely recommend this place and absolutely will be in again next time we are in Oban .��
