The Ocean Rooms Spa (Permanently Closed)

This was the worse Groupon Experience I have ever had. The service was none existent and they even changed my treatment times without consulting me. They had forgotten to take my contact number. There was no receptionist on duty and it took 10 minutes for her to arrive. Do not go here!

The hotel is nice but the spa isn't that good nice treatment facial and message good products elmis so not cheap but didn't last the time it was meant to and the sauna and steam room changing rooms are small smelly and horrible need revamped and cleaned on a regular basis staff okay apart from the odd can't be botherd look and atmosphere was okay for £55 not that great been to better for less money

Wish I could give it zero stars. We purchased a deal for this spa and even trying to book was awful, when I phoned I was told there were no Saturdays free at all then the woman hung up, when my friend phoned the next day she was given several dates.
Myself and my 3 friends went to the spa for afternoon tea and 2 treatments. Sandwiches went stale very quickly so I assume they had been sitting out for a while. Receptionist at the spa didn't seem to have a clue what we were booked in for, a treatment that all 4 of us had booked wasn't available so we had to choose something else.
We were crammed into tiny treatment rooms with two beds with no where to hang our clothes and bags. They were by the side of the pool so we could hear everyone at the pool - hardly relaxing!
My back neck and shoulder massage was just passable and the hot stones foot massage (that i had to choose and the body scrub I'd prebooked wasn't available) was really awful, I don't think the therapist had a clue what she was doing. Our treatment time was cut short by at least 15 minutes also (maybe more)
I have never left one of these reviews before but it was so bad I felt like I had to warn people not to waste their money.

Very disappointed with treatments, girl had a cold coughed and heavy breathed over me, facial felt like a punishment, staff whispered during treatments, bed banged constantly during treatment.

Rubbish service and no availability to book. Wasted voucher.

I purchased an afternoon tea/spa day for my daughter and her fiance as a christmas gift. Much to my annoyance they have returned from their 'what should have been a lovely day' saying the place was very dirty and the toilets, both in the ladies and gents changing areas, were beyond disgusting. I paid £88 for the spa day and an additional £40 for their treatments which thankfully they at least enjoyed the treatments.

They were reluctant to use the other facilities as they were so filthy and after seeing the attendant brushing dirty water and clogs of hair into the pool confirmed their opinion of the Ocean Room Spa in Glasgow. They were in and out of the building within two hours and that included their afternoon tea.

Such a waste of money and so very disappointing concidering it was a Christmas gift to two very hard working people who had been so looking forward to a nice relaxing spa day....NOT!!

Very nice, clean. Most staff are very nice except the odd one
