The Old Crofthouse is open all year round and offers flexible accommodation to anyone wanting to "get away from it all" for long or short breaks.

In a lovely evelater, private position on a hillside above the village of Gairloch, this detached house has magnificent panoramic views across the loch to the Torridon mountains and across the sea to Skye. The original part of the house dates back to the mid 1800's and an upper floor has been added to provide spacious, comfortable sunny rooms.

The house is fully double glazed and has a welcoming and cosy feel. The garden grounds are enclosed, with a lovely grassy area at the front, a secluded mature walled garden and there is private parking for 3 cars at the back.

The village of Gairloch itself is a 15 minute walk away and offers visitors clean sandy beaches, mini cruises on the loch to spot seals, dolphins and porpoises. There is also an excellent golf course and opportunities for fishing, cycling, pony-trekking and birdwatching and some of the best and most varied walking and climbing in the UK.

Visitors to Gairloch also enjoy many places to wine, dine and shop all around the loch. There is an excellent heritage museum and, in all seasons, the local inns and hotels hold ceilidhs and live music evenings.
