So that’s the sun set on what should have been the busiest day of our year.....
We closed on Friday evening under the instruction of our government but have serviced standing bookings last night and today with home deliveries to help make Mothers Day somewhat special under the current circumstances.
... We refused to cancel Mother’s Day.... we did what we could. But worry not! We have decided to just postpone it for sunnier climes. We will not and cannot let these wonderful women miss out on their day.
We will no longer be offering home deliveries as we feel we cannot ask our staff to leave the house and travel to work. The safety of our nation depends on us all doing our part and properly committing to social distancing. We all must play our part and take this seriously.
We are a family run business. We pride ourselves that since March 1973 we have continuously had the pleasure to serve the local and world wide community! This short break is inconvenient but entirely necessary for the safety of our family, team and customers. To reassure you it is just a break! Together we will get through this and we will be back better than ever before! We will use the time to re-evaluate and reassess so we can come back not the same but better! A TORI Team 2.0 if you will. You guys deserve that!
We have been blown away by the support and we hold all the family generations of our customers very dear to our heart! We have enjoyed serving everyone of you and are excited at what lies ahead. We can’t wait to welcome you back so please be sensible, please stay safe, we will have your usual seat waiting when we have overcome this very difficult time.

We are no longer operating as business as usual!
We continue to fight to survive. We are still offering delivery & collection orders. Delivery & Collection will be available 4pm till 8 and all day on Sunday for 💐 MOTHERS DAY 💐 we will be updating details on this tomorrow.
... We hope all all our customers stay safe and follow the government advice. We need to beat this virus together so we can get back to normal!

Everyday we can remain open keeps our team busy and employed hopefully we can continue until there is more concrete information on what the support announced actually is and what it will look like.

We all have much more important things to concern ourselves with but just in case anyone didn't know. Our Buble Tribute has now been postponed. We have called all bookings to let everyone know. Lets hope we can all make it to the other side of this. A very worrying time for all!

Statement regarding the current COVID – 19 Pandemic
With the increasing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic, as a local business we would like to comfort our visitors and customers that we will continue to operate our business to the highest professional hygiene standard. Also, we will be incorporating additional hygiene safety measures such as providing hand sanitising stations throughout our building and at each entrance and exit for all customers, guests and staff. ...We have increased sanitising of public and high use areas. Our guests, customers and staff health and well-being are at the forefront of all our actions and control points.
Our team at TORI have been informed on all information and guidelines provided by the Government concerning health and hygiene guidelines during this contagion to keep all staff and customers safe as possible.
At this time if you are feeling symptoms of COVID-19 or unwell we would please ask that you do not visit our business to prevent any spread of sickness. Also, if you are unable to attend a booking at our venue please inform us by phone or message as soon as possible.
We will continue to operate as long as we can in the current climate. However, with the new advice from the PM advising those at risk to stay away from pubs and restaurants the feasibility of remaining open will depend on trade. There has been no long-term concrete realistic assistance offered to hospitality and overheads remain. Sad day in the village as the Original village post office closes. We want to thank the Cooper family for nearly 40 years of quality service. Family businesses with that personal touch are something we should never take for granted. The Cooper family customer service was of the highest standard and will be greatly missed by the village and surrounding community.
