The Osteopaths is a well-established clinic that has been around for over twelve years; we now have three easily accessible clinics in Dalry, Glasgow and Paisley. Here at The Osteopaths, we are regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). We work with leading health insurance providers such as Aviva, AXA, Bupa, Cigna, Health Shield, WPA and many more. We are also a member of the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. Our osteopaths treat a wide range of people, including children, the elderly, manual workers, office professionals, pregnant women and sportspeople. Furthermore, our patients seek treatments for various conditions such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, hip pain, headaches, upper back pain, sports injuries, work-related injuries, ergonomic assessment & acupuncture. Throughout our specialised team of osteopaths, we have over 50 years of experience. Teresa spent ten years as a nurse and a ward Sister specialising in spinal medicine and neurosurgery in London and Cambridgeshire before deciding to retrain as an osteopath. Teresa graduated with a first-class honour's degree in Osteopathy from the British School of Osteopathy in 1998 and has since worked in the UK and overseas. Simeon graduated with a first-class honour's degree in Osteopathy in 1991. Since then, Simeon has worked at several Osteopathic clinics within the UK and abroad; he also developed a passion for osteopath education. He was Head of Clinical Education and Dean of Academic Development at the University College of Osteopathy in London. Leah is one of our Australian graduates who studied at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in Melbourne and has three years of clinical practice. Whilst Lead attended university; she worked as a sports trainer for an amateur Australian Football League team. Katie is our specialist Cranial osteopath who has had experience working at the largest maternity hospital in Melbourne and has significant experience working in clinics in the UK.
