The Ovendoor

Fresh scones, home baking and a great flat white! What more could you ask for from this cosy tea room.

We visit Peebles every couple of years or so and can always depend on Ovendoor for lovely welcome and good choice of freshly made food whether it be a sandwich and soups or lasagne/pasta type dishes.All served promptly and reasonably priced.Only one downside is that I never have enough room to taste beautiful homemade cakes!!

Lovely little ex bakery building,, homely, wonderful fresh homemade cakes, scones, teacakes, tea and coffees. Indoor and outdoor seating in a courtyard set behind main street shops accessed via small passageway.

Popped in for 11ses I ordered latte a and toasted T cake, the worst T cake ever all I could say about the coffee it was wet they didn't have change and don't except cards great eh"

Pleasant little tea house, hidden behind the main high street. There is also a small courtyard for having a cuppa tea and cake in the sunny days!
I've not tasted the food, but I am sure it would be homemade and scrummy.

Good food pleasant staff and clean cutlery.
