Good value for money, very busy at lunch time, good food and friendly staff, the place is a little bit small for the amount of clients they have.

Inspired and surprisingly good cooking in a simple café setting. Coffee very good too. Pic is of the 'full Scottish' which has to be the most beautifully presented fry up I've ever had.

We haven't been here for a while but unfortunately after today's visit we won't be back. I ordered the Mull Cheddar and mango chutney roll with a mug of soup. Think it was £7.50. A regular cheap morning roll (which I actually had to send back to the kitchen first of all as it was hard and dry - as if it had been sitting exposed to air for a while), a few slices of cheddar, a couple of sprigs of curly leaves and 2 small slices of tomato. Fairly uninspiring and certainly not worthy of its price tag.

My partner ordered the Beefy Tostados which was tiny but tasty.

My son had a cheddar and baked ham toastie - thickly sliced ham which was a bit on the chewy side.

I ordered the Raspberry and Almond cake only to discover it was actually a Damson cake which again wasn't inspiring at all. Sweet enough to hit the spot but pretty flavourless.

Over £30 spent. If it hadn't been for the kids play area I would have given it 1 star.

With hot coffee served in glasses without handles, it's style over function I'm afraid. You might not be able to drink your flat white or latte without burning your fingers but at least you'll look achingly hipster cool. The alternative is waiting until it's gone lukewarm.

Nice spot for brunch. I had the waffles and enjoyed the incorporation of the classic peanut butter and jam concept on it (really worked). The rest of the menu looked great so will have to come again and certainly try the rest.

I came here for brunch and really enjoyed our dish. Chunky toast topped with smashed avocado with poached egg and salmon. Really hearty plate of food. Large restaurant and the staff are friendly and there is no push for you to leave straight after eating.

Brunch plates are so good and they are inexpensive!!! But I guess I didn't enjoy Haggis / Black Pudding. Staffs are very nice and friendly to us too.

Great brunch, nice location. Can get very busy and sometimes the service slows down as a result. It's also family and child friendly, which is good - but can make things a bit noisy.

Love the pantry, slightly more expensive but you can see why. Food all locally sourced and packed full of flavour. Great attention to detail with presentation and as a bonus it's family friendly with a little play area too 😊 Breakfast is a must! Yummy haggis !

A nice restaurant serving a wide range of homemade food and snacks. They took my order eventually once the people in front had finally heard what absolutely everything was. Was told to sit and it would be brought over. I guess they have different people for each job as it took a good five minutes for someone to bring over a Diet Coke and a couple bits of cake. I saw them sitting ready on the counter and could have easily brought it over myself. The cakes tasted okay, although what I'm assuming was a millionaires shortcake had a very hard biscuit bottom, rock hard chocolate and very soft 'caramel' middle (not sure it was caramel). A great play area for children although the gate opens in on the kids so need to be vigilant. Tables seemed very close together. Unfortunately restrooms are down a lot of steep steps and baby changing facilities not available, although one toilet has enough space for floor change. Definitely not suitable for wheelchair users or mobility issues.

Great here. Was just in for a coffee to kill 20mins while waiting for someone. Always friendly, coffee is always good. Recommended. Very kid/toddler friendly.

Haven't had such a guacamole in a long time. Very nice place by the royal circus. Lovely.
