Workout Wednesday! If you’ve not tried the new rig yet in the PEAK GYM then here’s why you should try it out! Ross from Life Fitness talks Darryll through a range of exercises that you can do using the Synergy 90. This flexible piece of kit is adaptable to all fitness levels and can help you with your training goals. Next time you’re in the gym ask any of our team to look at your current training programme or design a new one based around the rig!

Swimming pools closed Sun 11 Nov to Sun 16 Dec 2018 for essential maintenance and to upgrade our splash pool facilities.
We're really sorry but this work is necessary as the pool needs to be completely drained and although we've managed to proactively avoid doing this for the last 9 years since the pools opened at The PEAK we must now do this work to preserve the pools for future years.
Please find details below on arrangements we've made for our Learn to swim customers and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The PEAK will welcome over thirty female curlers from Sweden and Scotland on Monday 29 October as the Swedish Women’s Tour to Scotland 2018 visits Stirling.
The tour will start in Aberdeen on Friday 26 October 2018 and the tourists will then visit Perth, Stirling, Ayr, Hamilton, Kelso, Edinburgh and finishing in Kinross on Sunday 4 November.
The tour began in November 1973 when seventeen Scottish ladies visited Stockholm with Margaret Walker as their Captain. Since then, Scot...tish and Swedish ladies teams have toured every five years, with Scottish teams returning to Sweden every year ending in a 3, and Swedish ladies visiting Scotland every year ending with an 8. This year will mark the 44th anniversary of the tour.
We look forward to welcoming the Swedish Women’s Tour to The PEAK, the visitors can expect a very warm Scottish welcome as they take to the ice here in Stirling.

Workout Wednesday! Another one of our new additions is the SPARC. This is designed to be used for high intensity training and can easily be used as part of a bodyweight or core circuit and simulates running uphill but has no impact. This machine is easy to get started and is based on air resistance- give it a try but remember it is meant to be used for 2 minutes max!

My daughter is at the camp. I have the opportunity to observe her on the ice rink and even on of ice class. For me is excellent.

User

Love Aquacise but it is so difficult to book a class unless you phone early in the morning - don’t know why they can’t allocate some spaces online and some telephone - I appreciate not everyone has access to a computer but it is so much simpler to book online. Either that or increase the number of sessions in the week.

User

Really nice. The ice was quite shredded and difficult to skate on by the end, and although you can’t control who you let in to these things, there were a few common idiots who thought it was fun to provoke the beginners. I suggest these people be addressed by the guards on ice during the night...

User

Great swimming pool, but the 3 stars reflect how unusually cold the pool area and changing room are. Many people starting to bring towels into pool area to lessen the freeze of the changing room! Whole family sneezing today after spending a couple of hours there yesterday. The showers/changing rooms could also do with a deep clean. However, the pools themselves are clean. The building is bright and I have never seen it overcrowded, which makes it a relaxing experience.
