Very welcoming staff, dog friendly and a lovely view across the loch. We only stopped for a cup of tea but will definitely return the next time we are in the area.
The people, the scones, the banter, and the views - what a wonderful place. I was lucky to swing by for coffee almost everyday on my family vacation.
The food was delicious, the views outstanding & the staff were so friendly & accommodating! Can’t recommend it enough! Thank you for having us!!
The Pier Cafe is amazing! The location is gorgeous, and every member of the staff is very welcoming. Not to mention the fantastic food. We loved everything that they made, from fresh coffee and scones to seafood. Highly recommend!
Thanks for great food/service as nineteen members of the Cottage Cycling Club descended for lunch on their spring outing round the loch on a very busy bank holiday.see you soon
Possibly the best view of any cafe in the world... outstanding!! The coffee was top drawer, best quality by far. Friendly staff and need to mention the view and quality of the coffee again. 5 star
Our favourite brunch or coffee n' cake stop in the Highlands. Every visit meets a warm welcome, prompt service and wonderful, home-made fare. Oh, and the views of Loch Katrine and the surrounding, currently snow-capped mountains, are pretty impressive too. This is our 3rd Easter in these parts, and we visit the Pier Cafe most days, as we can rely on it being open and excellent, even when very busy, like this weekend.
Lovely warm and welcoming place.... staff food and service at its best.
Lovely find at the end of the road - beautiful view of the loch with tasty coffee and cake xx
Just got back from a wonderful holiday at Stronachlachar Lodge - added bonus was having the Pier Cafe on our doorstep. Over the course of our stay we had breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee and wine at various points at the Pier and it became our home away from home. It not only had fantastic food, beautiful location and very friendly proprietors and staff, but were dog-friendly and able to cater to food allergies (I particularly loved the dairy-free Victoria sponge cake). Highly recommended and can't wait to go back myself!
It's practically on our doorstep ( Aberfoyle ) and thoroughly enjoyed taking our grand daughter from Australia to the pier cafe for lunch which we thoroughly enjoyed.
In a superb setting, with outstanding views, the menu is always varied and delicious. Cullen Skink was a welcome dish after being out in the cold all morning. The staff are always so friendly and helpful, as well as accommodating to both people and their dogs. The food is excellent, the coffee and cake enough to entice any mere mortal, and the vibe is nice and laidback. It’s a beautiful drive to get there and we’ll worth a wee trip.
I had a wonderful lunch at The pier cafe Stronachlachar today. I won a £50 voucher before Christmas and treated the family
Great menu and the quality of the food is excellent. Slight problem with portions.....none of us could finish our mains.
I didn't want the Mhor bread (watching the carbs) and they offered me an alternative and gluten free if I needed it. Throughly recommended.
Highly recommend. Excellent food and great friendly service. Thanks so much for making us food after hours. Much appreciated.
Great food and excellent service. A super place to stop for rest and refreshments on one of the world’s great bike rides (even if a bit more hilly than newcomers expect).
Found this little cafe while out exploring on bike today, great coffee and cakes, worth the run
cheers
First visit to this little gem. Bit of an epic drive to get there however, def worth the drive. Surrounded by jaw dropping scenery combined with fantastic soup I had for lunch, I shall def be back. Our dog Harper was welcomed and was spoiled by the staff. Looking forward to returning
Fabulous place to eat, drink and chill. Stunning views over the loch. Staff amazing, friendly and always happy to help. Made us all feel welcome. Cakes and food very taste and lots of choice too. Kids loved the hot chocolate with all the trimmings. Would highly recommend a visit if in the area. Our second year on the trot and can't wait to go back. Keep up the good work guys, great little business you have built....you should be proud!
Enjoyed a lovely dinner here! Tasty food and beautiful views! Highly recommended:)I
