Staff were friendly enough but the food was not great. Chips looked and tasted like reheats.

Just had an amazing fish tea today my good lady had a small special tea the staff were very very nice and friendly and being ex military the gallons of tea was amazing to all the moaners you try running a chippy. Cheers

My partner and I both ordered Special Fish Teas, which was supposed to be two slices of fresh haddock. Unfortunately they tried to fob us off with one slice each of God-knows-what, presumably because they were running out of fish.
When we queried this the bill was reduced to that of 'Small Special Fish Teas' but even this was still over-priced for what it was. Most of the fish was left uneaten.
The place is cheap and cheerful, but you get what you pay for.
