The Powfoot Hotel

Our second visit to the Del Amitri hotel since the new owners took over. Excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings with a wonderful happy atmosphere generated by the most friendly and attentive staff team who could hardly do more to make you feel welcome. Very high standard of cuisine, with dishes from an interesting, varied but unpretentious menu
beautifully cooked and presented. Little wonder that dining tables are in high demand from hotel guests and locals alike. A real Solway gem!

Stunning location with the warmest welcome. Staff seem like old friends. Sumptuous Sunday lunch with great chef able to cater for all dietary requirements. Highly recommended.

Just spent an amazing afternoon at Dell Amitris at Powfoot ,Fantastic food,staff who were so lovely and attentive and beautiful surroundings. It has it all and will be back very soon.Thank you Lisa,Martin and team!

Can't rate this place enough! Fab staff and fab food. The chorizo and chicken burger was superb! Would highly recommend. Loved the decor too, was just lovely. Unfortunately it was a rainy day when we went but I bet the views are great when its sunny.
