"The dark days of February have been indelibly brightened by Winterplay" (The Scotsman). Returning in Feb 2019 and again superbly directed by Susan Tomes, Winterplay is a one-day festival of chamber music with piano, violin, cello, poetry, a pre-concert talk and a children's workshop. Put it in your diary now and have something to look forward to in the dullest month of the year! http://www.thequeenshall.net/…/winterpl ay-2019-evening-conc…

Brilliant film, brilliant music, brilliant cause. We're delighted to host Graeme Stephen's The Penalty as part of the Hippodrome Silent Film Festival tour here on Sat 1 Dec. A total visual and aural treat, the premiere had us spellbound and garnered a 5-star review from The Scotsman. And we're delighted to present this as part of St Andrew's Fair Saturday with £1 from all tickets sold going to Social Bite. http://www.thequeenshall.net/whats-…/gr aeme-stephens-penalty. Your Quote of the Day: "When you sit down to write something, there should be no guidelines. The main idea is not supposed to be, 'How many different ways can we sell it?' That's so far away from the true spirit of what music is." (Prince)

Christine bovill was amazing.
Bring back Thistly Cross!
Big thank you to the Queen's Hall after the Fringe and Regular Music would not take responsibility for problems with tickets/seats for a recent show. The Queen's Hall came up with the goods - thank you very much indeed!
Awesome live music venue!
Sadly when being seated the girl given that job at the top stalls (we were in row e) couldn’t have been less helpful. Very disappointed. The shambles for drinks at the interval and the unwillingness by staff to provide a satisfactory solution was again very disappointing. We walked around for 10 minutes looking for our drinks which were not there. Ten had to queue at the bar to speak to someone. Unacceptable really. Get your act together. The Gig however was perfect.
Good performers, but very uncomfortable, and frequently a bad view of performers from many seats due to pillars.
