Craft School and Design Studio

Hello and welcome to my page and thank you lots for popping by : )

I am a textile designer, maker, author and tutor based in Fife, Scotland. I specialise in creating original hand stitched products with a distinctive colourful, playful and quirky style.

I also run my own School of Creative Textiles from my home studio where I teach a range of private classes from knitting, crochet and feltmaking to machine sewing and embroidery.

My background -

I trained in Textile Design in the north of Scotland and after graduating I was employed by internationally renowned knitwear brand Rowan Yarns as a Design Consultant & Tutor before setting up my own craft business.

Over the years I have freelanced for a number of clients and provided live demonstrations at shows and events taking place throughout the UK. My work has sometimes even featured in the media, most notably on STV's lifestyle show The Hour!

I have also authored and co - authored several books including 'I Love Knitting', 'Animal Hats', 'Crafting for Girls' and Fleece Fantastic'.

When I'm not in the studio designing and teaching I run a Creative Social Enterprise project for young people in North Edinburgh. I also regularly deliver craft sessions in the local community including a hospice day therapy unit.
