The Rose is a great place to eat. Some friends and I always meet up here every four/six weeks for catch up. The food and Service is brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Myself and 15 family members went for a meal at The Rose last Thursday. We were in the lounge room on our own which was nice, the food was lovely and the staff really couldn't have been more helpful! Thank you very much, I'd thoroughly recommend you!

Lovely food in nice surroundings served by pleasant staff for a reasonable price.

Lovely atmosphere with friendly attentive staff. Good well cooked food at reasonable prices. We found The Rose as we drove past and liked it so much we returned the next evening.

Lovely New Year's Eve menu, the food was the best I have eaten at the Rose. The fish starter was lovely, the lamb for the main course amazing and the desert plate just could not eat them all, then a help yourself cheese table, Coffee and chocolates to finish. Fantastic food and lovely service thank you truly wonderful

Husband & I was there on saterday early evening

We had the sea food mixed grill it was exselent

We will definitely be returning in the very near futcher

Had a pukka sausage and onion cabata , with a pint, Highly recommend this pub staff very friendly

Great food and lovely staff who were attentive & friendly. Rhubarb gin is lush too. Would highly recommend, well worth a visit

Excellent find on the way home from a visit to Addensbrook Hospital , great food and welcoming staff.

Always very welcoming a warm cosy old fashioned feel to this place . Service is very good . I regularly meet a friend for lunch here.

I went on a Sunday afternoon with my husband and three children. All the staff were very attentive and friendly and so accommodating with our baby son. Very friendly atmosphere and food was lovely,especially the roulade

Great service. Our starters cane quickly. The main course was very nice. We only waited a short while for the dessert menu. Lemon merg pie was fab. Enjoy our mothers day treat with our mum

Great old school pub, very nice open fire, we definitely recommend

Good food specialising in food from the sea. Shame the beer choice was limited.

Food was good staff nice and we got served very quick

The children's menu far too over priced...£9.50 for sausage, chips and beans! Don't order the roast lamb either as that wasn't edible. Service ok but probably won't eat there again.

The last 2 times I have been here I have been very disappointed. Yorkshire pudding was really doughy like a pudding not light and fluffy and the stuffing tasted like very badly made stuffing mix that was rubbery in texture. I won't be going again.
