We took our two cats to Pets n Vets and had Helen check them over. She was so friendly and made the cats (and us!) feel at ease. We were given great advice and all our questions were answered thoroughly. The treatments they received (vaccinations and flea/worming) were not expensive and seemed a reasonable for keeping your pets healthy.

We also had a couple of questions that we emailed to the surgery, which were answered promptly by Fiona with a phone consultation. Again she was friendly and so helpful and again I left feeling relaxed!

This is my first time dealing with a vet without my parents (first pets as a grown up!) and I don’t see us going anywhere else.

We sadly had our beloved 16 year old lhasa apso chewy put to sleep on thursday. From start to finish the satff were fantastic with us. From giving us a private room to wait so we would not have to sit so upset infront of the rest of the people waiting. The reassurance we were given that we were doing the best thing for him was extremely comforting. I arrived home from work today ( which is still extremely hard without him coming to greet me) to a beautiful sympathy card from the staff. What a wonderful kind thing to do even if it did start the tears flowing again. I would like to express our sincere thank yous.x

Truly excellent vet, they have to "deal" with my fiend of a cat (Micio), and with prior warning of the impending doom about to confront them, they always do a great job...thank you for putting up with my Micio, as a pet owner I do hang my head in shame at the behaviour of my handsome boy

This was my second visit to this vet with my kitten, both times I have felt reassured and well informed, as this was the first time I have owned a cat I was anxious having previously owned dogs.

The roundhouse have been amazing with my sheltie Poppy and I. She had surgery a few years ago for a luxating patella which was then complicated with a fracture during her recovery period, due to her finding a stray ball to play with! I felt time was taken to make sure I really understood what would happen with the procedure, what the risks were and what the outlook would be for Poppy.

Since then we have been back a few times with the run of the mill vet visits, muscle strains, projectile vomiting and boosters. We have always managed to get an appointment and in some cases on same day when we have needed them.

Recently Poppy strained the same leg that she had her operation on and I assumed the worst, and that she had broken her leg. Ross took the time to review her X-rays even though he was in surgery, which reassured me given he completed her original surgery.

I have never felt like I have ever paid for treatment or appointments Poppy didn’t need. I would say at times I have made the decision to say get her X-rays done straight away when she became lame, instead of giving her a couple of days rest as advised. However, I was grateful of the option as it put my mind at rest.

At my previous vets I didn’t feel that I had much say in Poppy’s treatment but I feel very much involved at the roundhouse.

Thank you for your care and kindness with the loss of my darling Daisy and for your help with my little boy Ollie who is wondering where his big sister has gone. Such sensitive compassionate care and staff

Our wee Bailey was in yesterday getting crutiate surgery, and me and my partner were so worried about him all day, we picked him up last night and the staff were brilliant at explaining his operation and the future care plan for Bailey, thank you all so much for taking care of our wee baby, he's been spoiled rotten and loving all the attention, keep up the amazing work you all do, your all stars in our eyes xxx

My kitten Hank broke his leg recently, and I was absolutely devastated. I was also so upset that he had to stay in the vets for a few days while he recovered from surgery (although I know he was in the best hands! I just missed him!)

The staff called with updates regularly, even going so far as to call late at night just to put my mind at ease. You can just tell how much all the staff care for animals. Amazing service, to myself and my baby boy. Cannot thank them all enough! I would also like to say I have read through their other reviews and seems to me the bad reviews would be fixed if people would just insure their pets!! Instead of Hanks treatment costing £2,500 it costs me £17 a month from Petplan.

Thank you again - will never take Hank anywhere else!

I can't think of a better vet practice, we only moved to the roundhouse a year ago after a house move and when we saw signs of our lovely cat beginning to get poorly. Everyone is amazing and compassionate, they took great care of Mary and us during the most difficult time pet owners face. We will miss our almost weekly visits to buy Mary's food with always a kind smile and an interest in how Mary was and a great play area in reception for kids to act out being mini vets. They have a seperate waiting area for cats and other small animals too, it's all been thought out so well. Without hesitation I can recommend the roundhouse, thank you again for everything you did for us and our feisty wee girl xx

Had never used this practice before. Our 4 month old Ball Python Eloi managed to burn his tummy but phoning round local vets discovered that not all vets will treat reptiles. So glad we tried The Roundhouse. Even though their reptile vet, Emma, had no appointments that day she had us come straight over, thoroughly checked Eloi and gave us the necessary medication to treat his burn. The practice is very modern and well appointed with private parking, a large spacious waiting area with a separate area for cats and other small animals away from boisterous dogs. When we arrived the receptionist knew exactly why we were there and within a few minutes Eloi was getting the help he needed. We were greatly impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of all the staff and look forward to a long association with this excellent vetinary practice with our other snakes and lizard.

User

Fabulous staff and the vets seem to enjoy our visits with our cats....Some know our breeds and others soon learn and make a fuss and also asking if ok to take photos lol. Pets n Vets are a great company and we have our favourite vets but they are all really good. So glad we moved from our old vet about 5 years ago as never been disappointed and 1 cat that was saved by a special young lady there! Thank you all <3

User

Excellent staff from the receptionists to the vets I know my furry baby is in excellent hands. Great value for money I got the welcome to the family package. The waiting room is lovely we look forward to our free coffees when we’re waiting and pets at home is right across the rd so perfect to pop in for a treat or essentials and u get 10% off there too xx

Compared to other veterinary hospitals around Glasgow, this is by far, the best. It's not just a money making business, like many other places, they really DO care about all our fluffy babies. It feels like you have known the staff your entire life, No TELLING you things in a "I know best" way, but discussing it with you, so you feel comfortable. And finally to the price... SOOOO CHEAP. (exact same op, done on a different leg, at a different hospital 2 years ago cost me three times as much, as what we payed at The Roundhouse veterinary hospital.)

Thank you so much for fixing my Muppet <3 /Marie

Can't thank the staff enough for helping my little fur baby Theo last night. The difference in him from last night till today is amazing, thanks to Carrie and Emma at the Scotstoun practice for looking after Theo, and Emma at Roundhouse for doing what needed to be done for him. X

User

As an overprotective "cat mummy" I was a wreck yesterday morning bringing in Ollie for teeth extraction surgery. His admission.details were handled by Leanne. She was so reassuring and kind I was happy to hand over my cat basket with its precious cargo to someone I knew would care for him. I am indebted to the wonderful Vet whose skills had my seventeen year old boy home by 6.00 pm and scoffing plateful of food by 9.00pm. So, please, if you have a worry about your pet, get to the Roundhouse. You'll be reassured as soon as you reach everyone at the Reception Desk

User

Absolutely brilliant place. Staff are amazing and so kind. My ragdoll cat Guido took ill with pancreatitis and everyone at the roundhouse took amazing care of him. The night we were refered from McDolnalds vet I was so upset and all members of the team we dealt with were amazing and very sympathetic. He was in for 5 nights and we could go visit him the care he received whilst there was fantastic.

Glad to say my boy is back to his cheeky self. Thanks again

I have a shar pei puppy. Every time I went with my puppy I was charged quite a lot of money. They had no clue what they are doing as they kept printing staff out from internet about shar pei sickness. I was very dissapointed because all they care is all about not your pet but your money. Ive been told that my share pei puppy had a kidney problem but Ive decided to go to a different vet to get another opinion and they said that my puppy is a very good health because they know kind of breed. We always had a different vet because they never seen a shar pei puppy before.
