Wonderful day out. Even though I was singled out for shooting a Murder Buck, which was easy! But loved the first time experience anyway...will defo come back another day with the family if ever I am in the area.

We had the most wonderful morning learning how to clay pigeon shoot with Tracey. She explained everything step by step and made us feel at ease. We will definitely be back again next family holiday!

We had so much fun, it's was a fabulous experience and Tracy is amazing, recommend this as a fun activity. Thank you to everyone who made it special.

We had a wonderful day at the shooting range with Tracy today. We had never shot a gun before. In a short while she helped even our 12 year old hitting multiple shots in a row. She was nice and firm in a good way. Felt really safe. Excellent!

Thanks to Tracey and her team for a fantastic day. Having never shot a gun let alone clays I had just the best time. With excellent tuition I even managed to hit a few.

My wife and I both had a coaching session with Stuart at the school. I can honestly say that they work wonders. Within minutes the many floors in my shooting were highlighted and addressed and after the adjustments were made I did not miss a target! Which is more than could be said of my shooting the day before. My wife is new to shooting so Stuart provided her with a great foundation of what shooting is about and the principle behind shotgun shooting what is required to hit a moving target safely which she most certainly was doing. I must say, safety was the emphasis of the day and conducting all the shooting safely was the main priority in everything we did. Being ex-army (so was our coach) and having run numerous shooting ranges this was very good to see. The instruction was genuinely first class by very experienced coaches and the new set up at the school is brilliant, not to mention the grand setting it is situated within. I have never been to a shooting school that makes you feel so welcome and relaxed. I would recommend this 110% to anyone of any level wanting to progress themselves, you will not be disappointed.

My son and I had an absolutely ball!!! It was a great day with great company and instructors!! Will definitely be back again x

My son Jamie 13 and myself had a wonderful mother’s day event with the school! We did clay pigeon shooting and tomahawking such good fun and a little bit competitive with others in the group!

Everything was very professional and organised and the owners were lovely friendly interesting and knowledgable!

The site where the events take place on the Roxburghe estate is beautiful!

We are hoping to return at Easter!

I attended The fabulous House of Cheviot Ladies Day on 12th August and was super-impressed with the ground, surroundings and hotel. The whole day was amazing. Tracy is an excellent instructor and such a lovely lady, imparting confidence and knowledge in the most secure and comfortable surroundings. In fact, I liked it so much, I'm going back this week!

Have been a couple of times to the Shooting School now and cannot fault Tracy, Stuart and the team of instructors and willing helpers. Throughout the event everyone is keen to know how it is going and if there is anything you specifically want to see or work on. Very customer orientated and worth a visit. Adding to this review after another amazing coaching lesson tailored for our individual need. Just wish you guys were closer!

Have attended a couple of clay pigeon shooting events at The Roxburghe and found them to be well organised with great coaching. The venue is picturesque and ideal for shooting. Also had the opportunity to try tomahawk throwing - great fun! Would definitely recommend.

Had a great time shooting yesterday. I had never done clay pigeon shooting before and was a little apprehensive prior to yesterday’s session but Tracy (who it turns out is from my neck of the woods - small world!!) talked through everything from safety to technique thoroughly and we felt like we were truly being taught how to shoot as opposed to being supervised. Tracy was fantastic as was the experience and next time I’m in this part of the world I have every intention of going back for another go.

Had a great time on my friend Gill Blythe hen do learning to throw axes. Tracy was excellent at her job and was a lot of fun. Would thoroughly recommend this �

Excellent run event, thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. Great targets for all levels of shooters to enjoy. Lovely friendly staff. Thank you.

Everything about this experience was incredible. Tracy and her team were very knowledgeable, professional and most of all patient! Everyone had an amazing time. Despite some of us never having the chance of shooting a gun in the past, everyone was able to hit the target with their instructions. We will never forget it! Thank you Tracy !

Enjoyable day learning from top class instructors. Immediately felt at ease with Alistair, his knowledge and sense of humour ensured we all got the most out of our day- and were able to successfully shoot some clays!

Attended a safety officer course run by Tracey well laid out course and some good points gained. Well laid out shooting ground just a pity could not shoot some clays.

Alex took part in the young adventurers day. He thoroughly enjoyed it, clay pigeon shooting, archery and tomahawk throwing. All expertly guided by Tracey and Stewart who are both excellent and really spend time showing you the techniques. Would highly recommend it and great value for money!

I had never done clay pigeon shooting before and was a little apprehensive prior to yesterday’s session but Tracy (who it turns out is from my neck of the woods - small world!!) talked through everything from safety to technique thoroughly and we felt like we were truly being taught how to shoot as opposed to being supervised. Tracy was fantastic as was the experience and next time I’m in this part of the world I have every intention of going back for another go.

Everything about this experience was incredible. Tracy and her team were very knowledgeable, professional and most of all patient! Everyone had an amazing time. Despite some of us never having the chance of shooting a gun in the past, everyone was able to hit the target with their instructions. We will never forget it! Thank you Tracy !

Enjoyable day learning from top class instructors. Immediately felt at ease with Alistair, his knowledge and sense of humour ensured we all got the most out of our day- and were able to successfully shoot some clays!

Attended a safety officer course run by Tracey well laid out course and some good points gained. Well laid out shooting ground just a pity could not shoot some clays.

Alex took part in the young adventurers day. He thoroughly enjoyed it, clay pigeon shooting, archery and tomahawk throwing. All expertly guided by Tracey and Stewart who are both excellent and really spend time showing you the techniques. Would highly recommend it and great value for money!
