The Royal Bengal Tandoori Restaurant

Tonight I had my parents over for dinner and we normally share 2 meals between all of us. We had never been here before but all agreed to try it. We ordered 2x chicken korma, 2x garlic nan and 2x pilau rice.

We all agreed that it was absolutely disgraceful what we paid nearly £27 for, We each got 4 chicken pieces and the meal was not hot, the kormas tasted like a watered down bland milk certainly not creamy and the nan breads were small thin and tasteless.

We hate writing reviews like this but this place need to rethink what they are doing. We most certainly will not be back......

My wife and I are both vegans and she has Coeliacs Disease and we eat as freely as anyone else here. The staff really know their stuff and can tell you instantly what foods contain allergens and what foods are right for you. In almost all cases they can tailor anything to your needs. Vegans please try out this establishment! We cannot recommend highly enough!! Royal Bengal now proudly advertises on Happy Cow. 10/10!!

Every time my partner and I have been the service and food has been impeccable . Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait for the booths.

First time I've been here in a few years. Have to say the food was really good!!Quite a small restaurant but with a good atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Was busy for a Wednesday night so might be worth booking. I'd definitely go back.

The best in the area,always very high standard and staff make you more than welcome.No special dietary requirements are a problem with good vegetarian and vegan options available making them hard to beat.

I have been a customer of the Royal for around 14 years since moving to Dunfermline. The fact is that it is the best restaurant in Dunfermline for indian food. Always fresh and if you order it for home delivery it is usually piping hot.
