We're really excited to host the dynamic DJ duo of "Bassie" aka Tessa Pollitt of The Slits and Soft Wax from Deptford Dub Club.
Tessa is a bona fide punk rock legend having provided the bassline for The Slits classics such as "Typical Girls" and "In The Beginning There Was Rhythm" not to mention their masterful deconstruction of "(I Heard It Through The) Grapevine".
Soft Wax has been putting on popular roots reggae, rocksteady and ska nights in South-East London for years, a...nd promoting Deptford Dub Club since 2014.

MS Society Fundraiser this Saturday as Rumshack Steve invites All Caps' BAKE to play from his reggae, dub and dancehall collection. £5 on the door.

Named one of Band on the Wall’s ‘ones to watch in 2019’ and with a growing arsenal of tunes, and radioplay, Agbeko are fast gaining a reputation for inducing anthemic singalongs and mass dance offs to stages throughout Europe and beyond. Fans of Fela Kuti & Africa 70, Hailu Mergia & The Walias Band, Antibalas, Budos Band, Ibibio Sound Machine and The Souljazz Orchestra, take note!
An onslaught of horns, guitars, percussion and gutsy vocals, the eleven-strong outfit deliver powerful songs packed with riffs, groove and lyrical prowess to move gig-goers, festival throngs and afro-funk afficionados alike.
