A group of reporters are trying to decipher the last word ever spoken by Charles Foster Kane, the millionaire newspaper tycoon: "Rosebud". The film begins with a news reel detailing Kane's life for the masses, and then from there, we are shown flashbacks from Kane's life. As the reporters investigate further, the viewers see a display of a fascinating man's rise to fame, and how he eventually fell off the top of the world.

With the film set in an old Savings Bank in 1946, here at our own former Savings Bank, our venue lends itself perfectly to the theme!

Great venue for a party. Lovely interior and really nice staff.

Arrived too early for the last tour of the day (problem with buses). However, I was made very welcome, given tea and homemade cakes, spent the best part of two hours there as I was so taken with the place - I love the interior and felt at home there. Wish Chet and Kristy lots of success with their venture
