It was an interesting experience and the zoo keepers were really nice and informative. The Falconer was really amazing and took time educating my girl.

The only downside was the Cafe. I found the quality off good very disappointing and over priced. The staff were polite and friendly though.

I think considering the price you pay to get in that food and drinks shouldn't be so expensive. This can ruin a day easily.

Great day out! You can buy a bag of food and feed the deer as you walk round. There are specific feeding times for different animals like the red fox, otters and wolves so you can see them up close! Great play and picnic areas. Theres a birds of prey display too. Also a huge shop and lovely cafe.

August. My daughter brought me here for a day of photo taking. I found this place on the whole was disappointing. The leaflet given showing all the animals on the site was a little inflated. We walked for a good distance and found a lot of the enclosures had nothing in them. There are deer here and different types. Bears X 2, Wolf X 1, some otters and wild cats. Lynx? Birds of prey about a dozen types. The outdoor flying display of the birds was very good and entertaining.
I compared this place to a visit we had to the Owl Center just past Livingston. We have this 5 stars. We give this Deer Park 3 stars as it cost more and had to many enclosures empty. Great for walkers and must be prepared for the weather. There are no shelters on that long walk.

Went on a half price voucher. Deer's and other animals were good to see and looked well looked after. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Outdoor play area was of a good standard as was cafe and picnic areas. Inside play area, toilets and some other parts could do with a lick of paint, clean and tidy. Needs some additional indoor and activities for under 5's to take it to the next level. Would have given less stars if paid full price.

Great day out here. Really big open space with the different types of deer plus loads more animals! Meet the otters, wolfs, wild cats, lynx, bears and the fox. Plenty of displays and guided talks with very knowledgeable friendly staff. The bird display is a must as you'll get very close to an awesome looking owl. Recommend to visit but bring your own food for a lovely picnic.

Quite expensive, we were on a cold day so we did not feel nice. Play area is small and you are soon excited. Nice for a moment but not worth the price

Brilliant day out for the family,so much to see and do, great variety of animals.the place also has a park for the kids to play. Plenty of free parking and in a lovely part of the country.

Nice place for a day out with kids although make sure it's a dry day as there is very little indoors if it rains or gets cold. Very reasonable prices lots to see and do at different times of the day. Only complaint is having to go back outside the visitor centre to use the toilets and come back in through the main door / entrance as there are no other toilets anywhere that I could find.

Not quite worth the money you pay, as it's quite small and not much to do. If you have really young kids, they will love the animals and the play area. However if you have older kids, age 8+, it will not hold their interest for long.

Deer were adorable and incredibly friendly, we got to see bears and wolf's (the highlight of my son's day) and we got to see an owl at the bird of prey. It was good and broke up our day, but it was all over within 2 hours. Can't really make a day of it.
