Squeezed us in at the best table at the window,the whole place was immaculate ,friendly fast efficient first class food and service highly recommend cullin skink and sunday roast very generous portions worth every penny shall be back soon ..

Went for a birthday meal for my partner. The staff were very friendly and professional. Quick to take our drinks order and bring them over, and very polite when we needed a little extra time to choose our food. The wine and cocktails menu has a wide array of drinks, but as one reviewer mentioned the food menu is a few safe dishes. Our starters were amazing, I had the mussels and my partner the haggis 'royale'. We both got the ship's surf and turf with 1/2 lobster. it was a bit disappointing. they cook the lobster with the Bernaise sauce rather than separately. Other than that I couldn't complain. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes seafood.

Going to a seafood restaurant is a real treat, and an expensive one at that. I don't make a lot of money, so I was irritated that my heap of very tasty seafood couldn't have been truly enjoyed while staff were having an argument in the seating area about shift swapping.

"I wasn't supposed to be in today!"

It felt a bit awkward.

Also, as much as I enjoy a large portion, I simply couldn't eat anywhere near half of what the menu describes as a "platter for two." If they don't expect you to leave a large amount of food they should change the description to "platter for 4 very hungry, rugby players."

Really good seafood dishes, large portions, and a great atmosphere. Would heartily recommend and definitely return.

Friday night 6pm dinnner...attenrive staff, great menu. Had mussels and mixed oyster starters followed by surf and turf and halibut. Portions and food all excellent. Will defiantly return!

A brilliant seafood restaurant/bar decorated in a nautical style without going too far toward tacky at all. You can tell the fresh is fresh the moment you walk in the door and the buttery/fishy smells hit you. The bar is a good size so that a few people can gather round it without ever intruding on the diners in the room. A real celebration of the sea and it's bounty!
