The Shop offers a whole host of products and services, all brought to you by local people who have recently set up their own businesses. What this means for the Airdrie customer is that they can buy unique and in many cases handmade products at reasonable prices, whilst at the same time supporting local entrepreneurs
The aim of the Starting Point Project is to support these new start-up companies during their crucial first 6 months of trading. During their time in The Shop, they'll learn everything they need to know about running and developing a sustainable retail business. The extensive training package is completely free and covers everything from customer service to marketing and financial planning.
