The Silvery Tay

This is by the best chip shop in the Dundee area but last night after ordering a sausage supper and single small fish the sausages tasted like they were hours old and had a texture like rubber although I ordered a small single fish it was absolutely tiny! Hopefully this is just a one off and a mix up with the order! Can't help but notice there's also a change in staff!

Made to order, but it's worth the wait. Excellent fish suppers :)

Great food, freshly cooked. The only reason I haven't given it five stars is the wait every time. I guess that's the price of freshly cooked food but it drives me crazy.

Best chip shop in the world. Always a healthy queue. Can't be bettered.

Lovely food. I could easily have managed with a small portion of fish and chips. You get lots of chips and a really good sized fish with regular.

This place is always seems to be busy so expect to queue - but not for too long because the queuing system here works like a well oiled machine, your order is taken shortly after you step in the door and you reach the head of the queue just after it's finished cooking. Yes, it's cooked to order and yes, the food's great. Bonus item - mini suppers are available at a suitably mini price, perfect for a pensioner with a smaller appetite.

Food is always freshly cooked to order. The service is generally very good and place is as clean as you'd expect during trading hours. Worth paying a visit for a good fish supper.
