The Smoking Goat

Generally a good place to be, good choice of real ales on draught and in bottle. Reasonable range of food. Staff are ok but some tend to be a bit snooty at times.
Usually a DJ on and his choice of music can be a bit off but so far it's not too loud so you can tune it out if required.
Worth a visit.

The Mexican themed menu is great, very tasty food, if a little expensive. Small selection of beers on tap, but the one I had was nice. Friendly service. When I went last they'd gone a bit over the top with the air freshener and it was a bit cloying...

Get underground pub/bar very friendly service and staff

Great place to have a drink before the great music and party atmosphere kicks in at night.

Cool pub, underground and hard to find - look for a door in the alleyway with a small goat photo above it. Beware, dont fall down the stairs as you go through the door. As I entered I wondered if I were entering some kind of exclusive club for devil worshipers, then realised what a cool place it was.

Great food, fantastic atmosphere.

Popped in to watch the rugby and stayed for lunch. Brilliant tasty burgers. Good atmosphere and the shiraz was good too.

Lovely historic environment, very cosy and chilled ambience. Great hot chocolate made all the better with a free mince pie😊

Unusual Cellar Bar. Easy to miss entrance but well worth finding. Good choice of beers including Real Ales.
