Snug here. Please accept with my deepest regret that due to a personal situation I have ceased to be. I am lost for words that I will not be around any longer. K cannot carry on anymore and J can’t do it without him. They are devastated to have worked so hard to create me and have now had to give up. I will miss you all as I know they will. They were so happy and the joy my customers brought them was what they loved the most. The Friday girls, the lady from Ratho, Angus. All of you. There will never be another Snug because as they told me no Snug could ever match up to me. They never got a chance to say goodbye so I will do it for them. TTFE TSC J&K 😪😪😪

Went with a friend and our babies for coffee and a toastie a few weeks back. Very friendly staff and yummy food. Outside space was lovely to sit in. Will definitely be back.

Warm and welcoming with soup that is lovely and wholesome, prefect for a cold Autumn day! Millionaires shortbread was a perfect after too! �

Popped in for lunch today with my 2 year old. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier and the soup and cakes were really tasty. Very impressed, we’ll definitely be back.

Lovely wee cafe. Good choices. My husband had the BLT from the specials board. I had an omelette which was packed full of the mushrooms and ham. Liked the variety in soft drinks and diet juices as well as hot drinks. I had a scone which was heated up and I didn’t want it heated up but that could have been hubby’s fault.

Lovely wee cafe - just had full Scottish breakfast with musical accompaniment by ELO. Started our day with a smile despite the rain. Thankyou!

I was here on a holiday for 2 days in Edinburgh with my other half and we came here for lunch the first day we arrived and breakfast the following day and on both occasions the food was outstanding the service provided by the staff was amazing , very friendly atmosphere and lovely cafe would definitely recommend it to others and would defo come back in the future x

I flew all the way in from the Cayman Islands and the first place I had to visit was the Snug Cafe for the best food and drinks, not to mention the best and friendliest staff in Edinburgh. If you want great food and service, the Snug Cafe is the place to be.

I attended a "Picnic and Prosecco" day in Dalkeith yesterday. The Snug Cafe provided the afternoon tea and it was fantastic. I especially loved the pastrami and mustard wrap and the handmade chocolates. Would highly recommend!

Hidden Gem. The best hot chocolate I have ever had. Lovely spacious cafe with extremely friendly staff.



If you are in this part of Edinburgh it is well worth a visit.



Although the weather wasn’t compliant it the outdoor area would be a lovely place to hang out on a sunny spring day or a summer afternoon.

Hi guys this wee place is awesome, amazing food and coffee, very relaxing seats by the window ;) Staff are very freindly and accommodating for my 2 year old. would highly recommend.
