The Stables Country Pub

We have a couple of bird boxes around about the pub Its always great to see we are providing good services to our wildlife too. There are littles birds in the box but we didn't want to get too close.

Calling all Gin lovers, we have some very exciting news to share with you! We will be hosting a garden Gin event. There will be multiple companies promoting and demonstrating the various gins and their garnishes. Keep your eyes peeled for further details getting revealed each week!

We are expanding our team to keep up with the increase in trade we are seeing. We are looking to take on a chef with experience working for a brand or someone completely new with an interest in cooking that we can train up and potentially offer an apprenticeship to.

Whatever the weather our garden is always open for our two and four legged friends alike.

We are delighted to nominate 'Cooper' as our Dog of the day. Cooper is now a regular, so well behaved and he might lick you to death. If you in the restaurant please say hello and give his ears a tickle. Well done cooper 🐾💖🐕

On Monday we had an heroic otter saving adventure, this wee guy decided he had, had enough of the water and decided to visit us at the stables!
BUT, the lady who saved him bought 'Gary and Pete' a present to say thank you for helping her with the otter. Could you please share, like this to help us find Gary.

On a mild Monday evening we had a heroic and action packed otter saving adventure.
This little guy decided he had had enough of the water and decided to come to The Stables for a quick rest. He has now been safely picked up by the SSPCA and is being well and truly taken care of. Good luck little otter 🐾💖

Our Sunday dog of the day goes to this very cute boy. Everyone meet biscuit! Biscuit was relaxing in the sun, enjoying a lovely cold bowl of water and loved playing with his fellow four legged friends!
