It's all happening at the Steam Inn today! Make your way up from the gala day today as we have Ted Christopher playing 2 til 5 And after that from 5 til they get tired there's an Open session with Alan and friends, all welcome so bring an instrument! We're serving food from 12-9 so we'll keep you all fed!

Happy Easter. And what a fine day it is. Sunday roasts and tunes from the Tweed Ceilidh Band this afternoon in the Steam Inn.

We had lunch here after boat trip and restaurant was braw and cosy. Waiting staff very welcoming. We ordered two delicious pizzas and a wild boar and chorizo burger with sides! Yum!

We visit the area fairly regularly but this is our first time here, but will not be the last.

Very nice place, great food and friendly staff! Well worth a visit if your in Mallaig.

The only thing wrong was we ordered the high tea but did not get the actual tea till 20 mins before we got off , disappointed we had to wait sooo long for a drink , they should have sorted that out first instead of going through the whole of the train first, bad planning.

The best fish meal I have had in ages! The Dover sole with veggies was wonderful, and we didn't mind the locals singing the 80's music either. �

Popped off the train from Mallaig for a bite. Great food! Good curry, wonderful pizza, good fish and chips, and a super meatball sandwich. A hit with the family all around

Lovely 3 course Christmas lunch for 6 adults and 6 children,great service and delicious food all beautifully prepared and enjoyed by us all. Having 6 children all under the age of 7 it could have been a disaster but with such a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff we all had a great afternoon. We will be back,thank you!

Had a brilliant one night stay here. The rooms have everything you need and love the fact that although they don't do breakfast you get fresh milk and cereal provided in your room. It's the little things that make a big difference! ALL the staff were friendly and helpful. We also had a meal which was delicious. I had scallops as a main and hubbie had scampi and we had pizzas for lunch the next day. Would absolutely recommend staying and eating here to anyone. Fab atmosphere with a lovely log fire on the go ��

A delicious vegetarian meal in the Steam Inn! Most enjoyable!

Visited today with 4 adults and 2 children with allergies. Though they didn't have a document listing the allergens within the food (that many places now have) and they weren't able to tell me the ingredients of the sausages as they throw the packaging away (an establishment has to be able to tell u the ingredients of the food)...they were able to offer the children grilled fish chips and beans which they thoroughly enjoyed. Us adults also enjoyed ours a lot!

Good varied menu and great tasty food. Very reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend this place.

Was in a few years back for an evening meal and it was a good sized portion�

Went back last night and the portion was small,whats happened?

My wife got seafood linguine £16 and the portion was small(hardly any linguine)

I got sizzling barbecue chicken which came with chips about 15 of them�

Certainly not the portions that you used to get!

Has it got new owners?

My pizza had far to much cheese and the tomato base just tasted like it was out a dolmio jar
