Nice atmosphere and really lovely food at very reasonable prices.

We went for a meal for my 30th it's was very warm and friendly welcome and great customer service. Amazing home made food.

We had our first meal of our holiday here & won't be the last.The food was superb with excellent friendly service. Customer service at its best 10/10.

This quirky old pub is a great stop after a walk along the beach at Carsethorn. Dog and people friendly, always a warm welcome and good food too. Always visit when we're up here. Second lunch this week and it's only Wednesday

Food quality is high Bear in mind the chef trained on fish....so inevitably the best plates! Specials are always good, presentation is high and portion sizes will leave you full! Only criticism is that the present owner took on a fairly run down establishment, and is slowly improving decor as he goes along, understandably. Every visit is better than the last! Quirky interior with loads to amuse the kids! (Especially the horses saddles as bar stools!)

Portions ok on everything apart from the fish and chips which is filling. Have belhaven on tap which goes down well with any meal. Nice fire there on a cold day. Would I come back ... of course.. Would I get dunk there.. oh yes

Nice food, particularly the seafood - had the scampi which was very fresh, refreshing change from the usual mass produced frozen stuff. Very scenic setting too.
