Fantastic place full of wonderful exhibitions

I love this museum - it's got an eclectic and very varied mix of exhibits of historic interest, and an old-world feel that reminds you of what museums used to be like. I'm not sure how suitable it would be for very young children, but with everything from prehistoric arrowheads to victorian silverware on display, there's something that should pique most people's interest.

Quite a fun place to go kids enjoy it too.

Some good artifact but sadly misrepresents the truth about people like John Paul Jones who at his best could be described as a pirate.
