About The Strawberry 50
The Strawberry Cycle Event is held around Cambridge and is open to all, with a choice of 55, 28, 14 and 12 mile routes.
The Strawberry 50 Description
Histon and Impington Bicycle Club and Friends of Histon & Impington Recreation are co-organising this enormously successful event for the third time. The Strawberry 50 cycle events aim to get as many people as possible out on their bikes enjoying the countryside around south-west Cambridgeshire. There are three rides to choose from:
55 mile loop via Gamlingay, Bassingbourn and Barrington
28 mile loop via Kingston, Little Eversden and Comberton
And there'll be a family friendly 14 mile route along the car-free busway to Swavesey, including specially set up café stops along the way, marshals, signage, and medals for children.
Registrations are open from 1st April 2017 onwards. You can register at the Strawberry 50 website at strawberry50. co. uk. Registration for the 14 mile family friendly ride is on the day, at the event only. Last year 563 people took part in the 3 events, so please book early to guarantee your place.
