Would have given 5 star. Food was good. But after telling them that part of the order was missing, they told me they would bring it out. Keep asking with the same result. Missing food never brought out. Shame as everything else was good.

I have always had good service and good food. The staff are very efficient and friendly and would recommend this place to friends and family.

The worst place ever for making you feel welcome, from the moment we walked in the girls on duty were having a chat and didn't appreciate being disturbed. Food was brought to the table and put down anywhere. We weren't even asked if we would like any more drinks and when my husband asked one of the waitresses walking past our table for another drink the girl just continued walking so whilst we did receive his drink we didn't receive the additional drink we had asked for whilst she was walking away.
Very poor service, the food was nice and the portions were good and the decor is inviting and cosy. What a difference a good service would make!!

Great place to go for a meal. Staff are very friendly and food is superb. Always a good idea to book in advance as it is very busy at peak times but if you forget they will try very hard to accommodate you.

Our preferred restaurant when visiting Dumfries. We love the food and the portion size. It is always well cooked and the staff are friendly and the setting is lovely. Try the Chicken with the Haggis Fritter Yum!

Swan is going down hill. food was cold. things missing. and didn't enjoy it.(This was a great place for food a couple of years ago.)

I took my Mum for lunch on Sunday. The staff were great. The food super and plenty of it too. The bill was easy to pay. I would advise people to visit you!
