The Tailrace Inn

Place is ideal for something to eat. It's central in the village and is family and pet friendly. If say it's a little on the expensive side for what you get. But average for the Highlands I guess

Good for a stop for a drink after a hike. Limited selection of beers, but some are OK. Friendly staff.

I wish this place wasn't so popular but it is on the West Highland Way and always full. It's basic but clean with a good bar area passable food and friendly staff what more could you ask for. Most only stay one night as they are on the walk but it's a good base for exploring the West coast.

The location of the Inn is great, right in the center of town. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The reason for a 4 instead of 5 stars is that the WiFi connection was spotty. The food at the bar/restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The rooms are comfortable but could use some updating, the floors are very squeaky though.

The bar and service were excellent, great food for dinner and breakfast. The rooms could use some updating, but nothing was deficient in any way. Our only complaint was the the Wi-Fi was spotty at best, and the floors creaked very loudly when anybody was in the hall, but nobody was walking around late enough for it to interrupt sleep. Overall a nice place in town.

Cosy stay in Kinlochleven, nice to sit out in the beer garden out front when it's sunny, and a really good full Scottish breakfast in the morning.

User

Decent pub but fairly average beer selection given the town has its own brewery

Great wee place we visit each year - Staff are great, mince n tatties are braw - midges are hellish!

The food wasn't home made, but that's OK, the prices were reasonable and the service was good. The food wasnt bad actually. I quite enjoyed my Chilli-Cheese burger with chips and side salad. The burger seemed like a standard cheap out of the pack piece of frozen meat, but was mostly rescued by the relish and toppings. Following the meal I had a gaellic coffee, which was more whiskey than coffee (I don't think that's such a bad thing) and again the price was reasonable. Not a bad place in a village with only a couple of eating establishments.
