The Tea House

Poor service & poor quality food. After visit on 23nov17 doubt I will be back. Avoid any beef dish as the meat is chewy or gristly. Service poor as not at any point did any server ask if our food was ok, not even the cashier . Did mention poor service and food quality but cashiers casual remarks of " I'll mention it to the manager" left me unimpressed.

Will be looking for somewhere else and save me a 20 minute drive.

Fantastic chinese/Thai/Malaysian restaurant, which also does take-away. Been here a few times, last week was the first time I’ve had the pre theatre which is between 5pm and 7pm if I remember correctly. Had spicy chicken wings and a lamb dish for the main. Both were excellent. Fast and friendly service and very nice inside. If your in this area and fancy this style of food then this is your place!

Everyone raves about this place and I keep giving it more chances but I've only really enjoyed myself once and every other time I've been very disappointed. Had a takeaway recently and the noddles tasted off and chicken satay was sub standard. Place is always mobbed and it's hard to get a table usually, it's also really expensive. I try to avoid this place unless friends choose it as I always feel afterwards that I've wasted my time and money. I wouldn't recommend this place and there are far better similar restaurants all over. If you're finding it hard to get a table give up and go elsewhere.

This is the best Chinese I have ever been to. Superb food and great staff.

Great service and gorgeous food. Not your run if the mill Chinese restaurant. This stands out from the crowd and is a quality restaurant

Just had our first visit here for lunch and I would like to say it was wonderful. The food is superb and the portions are really large, I had to get mine in a box to take away as I couldn't finish it. The staff are very friendly taking time to talk to you even though it was busy. We will definitely be back to the Tea house and would highly recommend a visit.

Staff are welcoming, friendly, polite and very helpful.
The food is amazing, never had a bad meal, it is fresh and tastes like a real Chinese (not your salty, gluppy, sticky, sweet takeaways) They also do Gluten Free here.
I recommend booking in advance as it gets busy from the minute they open.

This was our first visit but will not be our last. Everything was excellent from service, food and the presentation. Book your visit so you are not disappointed.

Food and service are exceptional. Very relaxed atmosphere with welcoming and helpful staff.

Just had a takeaway, was fantastic will need to go back for a sit down meal, looked like booking in advance might be required.

Had today my first delivery absolutely fantastic food and I'm Coeliac which means I have a problem to eat out but they have a really big choice of Gluten free food which it's tasty too. I was ordering thru the phone had a little misunderstanding on the my order but I don't mind it worth every penny.

The staff were all very pleasant and friendly. We went for the lunchtime menu. Great selection for a great price and the food was the best I've had for a long time. Freshly made and piping hot. If you find yourself in this area then I suggest you pay them a visit.
